Manually changing skin texture of modded npcs

I have been trying to manually apply a skin texture for the bijin warmaiden npcs, however no matter what I do, whether I set the mod to highest priority, or even running two instances of the mod, it gets overwritten by something. Even in game, right after I change a body with obody, bijin will apply the facegen and i can see the texture i want on the npcs body for a second before it changes back. Fresh redownloads, rebuilding npc merges, even leaving bijin warmaidens as the only npc overhaul mod doesn't change this problem.
