A Particular Follower Mod

In this Follower Mod using console commands, I cannot "remove item" tunic. Is there another way to remove it? It's not showing in her inventory  but is in "showinventory".

I'm not a pro at modding, so take what i'm gonna say with a grain of salt....

As far as i understand, some npc's have "hardcoded" equipment, even if you get it off them via console, they will revert to their original equipment eventually. I used to have mod called "NPC Clothes Changer and Maintainer" that let's you change any NPC's Clothing.

Nowadays, I use "Nether's Follower Framework" that allows you to change your followers outfit, even create several outfits for different occasions. NFF might be overkill depending on your build, but have a look, maybe one of those two works for you.

What's the follower?

but going along with Diziet's suggestion, I have been using NFF for years and have never had an issue changing a follower's outfit, even followers that come with their own custom outfit.
