Defeat not playing correct animations

SexLab Defeat (I'm using the baka version) isn't correctly loading animations according to the situation for sex.

Is futa x futa unsupported? I have many animations that should be applicable in scenarios of female x female or male x female though sexlab doesn't seem to show a male x male animation setting selector. Despite the lengthy list of compatible animations, only a very basic short list of animations is available and none of them follow the required tags. Trying to switch tags doesn't allow any more animations to be used beyond these ones.

Is there a mod that allows victims to be treated as female despite their futa genitalia, or a way to make male x male compatible? As it feels to me like that's the issue, though I could of course be wrong

edit: necrophilia is not working correctly either, though it did with the non-baka version of defeat.

Sorry I had intended to include a screenshot of the available animations list - as you can see it is perfectly extensive

UPDATE: it appears later stages of animation work as intended? Only the start of animation fails to load the correct set.

To be precise, after pressing spacebar 4 times the correct animations load.

Did some experimenting, it seems like the "pre-sex foreplay" option in sexlab itself is the problem - despite the fact it claims to only apply to consensual sex, it attempts to load foreplay animations for assault and necro scenes which are blacklisted from them, hence resulting in a reset to a default animation list

The mod that's starting the thread is the one responsible for filtering animations, not SL.

You can filter for animations with the "aggressive" tag, but not mark any actor as the victim. If there's no victim, the thread is not marked as aggressive. Again, the responsibility of the mod that's creating the thread.

Papyrus arrays are limited to 128 entries. Only the animations that were assigned to a thread can be used in that thread. Again, the responsibility of the mod that's creating the thread.

Don't know, but that mod would have to patch the mod that's currently starting the scene thread.

Since only live actors can be animated, necrophilia has always been a broken concept.
