[visual bug] red patches/overlays on skin during SL scenes

Hi, i'm getting these patches during Sexlab scenes on female bodies only.

I've already set MuDynamic Normal map overlay to false as suggested here.

Any idea how to fix this issue?

Mod list includes

  • SLP+
  • mudynamic normal map
  • Wet Function Redux SE
  • WetFunction_1.0_CBBE_texture 4K
  • BnP female skin (Replacer+Player version)

That has nothing to do with adding overlays. It fixes an issue with existing overlays not applying properly with the dynamically created msn. Turning it off would also disable the fix as far as I'm aware.

 

Edit: Maybe a bigger picture or a zoomed in one on one of the patches would be helpful. Can't tell if that sharp edge on the thigh is image compression or a texture thing.

2 options:

  1. Go Get More Informative Console.
  2. Start the game, make the problem to appear.
  3. Open the console.
  4. prid 14 OR select the character that has the red marks.
  5. Use MIC to inspect this actor's textures.

Or, if this is happening on the player character:

  1. Start the game, make the problem appear on the player.
  2. Open the console.
  3. showracemenu
  4. Save a preset of the character as it is now, regardless of whether the problem is visible in RM or not.
  5. Inspect the resulting jslot file in Notepad. Your problem is in the overrides array.

it's not a compression thing. It's really that bad, looks like a circular sunburn :D

the edge is sharp indeed.

these patches tend to appear on the back as well

no it's on characters. and since my PC is male I won't be able to check this way
