as long as its doesnt get out of hand on the hair, i mean theres a vanilla smp hair with slightly altered meshes that looks just fine if you want to use it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31300   would be ok as i have it but im NOT downloading a hair mod thats over a gig, especially for static hair. so if you do a version that requires the ks hairs i would dearly love it if you did a version that just had the vanilla hair as well. for me a gig of space for a hair mod i wont actually use is a huge waste of space. love your work tho :)

edit: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/63979?tab=files    is the vanilla hair with smp, which works great

KS Hairs SSE has been a staple mod in my LO for a long time, so for me its not that big of a deal.
I DO get it though, some people dont want to allocate the resources for something they arent really going to use. KS has a ton of hairs in there.
That was my idea at first too. Unfortunately ; the replacers (out of the box) did look rather weird having a default hair.. Another thing was all the induvial replacers with their own plugin, plus the USSEP patch...it was getting to be kinda a mess..

So I opted to do AIO with a KS Hair requirement. It just...well it looks better for 1 and for 2 it saves me from having to add all the hairs im using separately which yes, would save space if I did that as their would be no KS Hair requirement but... its also a ton more work with multiple replacers. The AIO plugin makes adding future replacers and USSEP patching easier too as I plan on adding more over time (Frea and Jordis for example) ... I dunno, for now , I think this is going to be the way to go.

I may try something else later to alleviate the KS Hair SSE requirement but not in the immediate future.

If your using MO2 you might need to "merge" it with the original mod..(Note: if you do that and it doesn't work you'll have to uninstall the followers completely and reinstall them)

OR... you could unzip the patches on the desktop and manually place the edited "femalehead.nif" file  inside the main follower mods , replacing the one that it comes with.
(Make A Backup copy of the original file first, that way if its borked, you can always just replace the original files without having to reinstall the whole follower mods over again if things go south.)

I don't know what i'm doing wrong but I can't get these to work. I am using MO2, I replaced the files in the main mods with the files you provided and it had no effect on a new game or continuing save.... :( your other stuff works perfectly though! :)

Could be they just dont work.  Ill have to test them out on my end and see. I just wasnt really setup to do it but Ill give it a shot.

will you make a FOMD so that we can choose which to install?

Maybe at some point...Issue with individual replacers is that a USSEP patch would have to be created for each one separately....Not really something I want to spend extra time in doing.

So if I did do a FOMOD, I wont offer USSEP patches for them seperatley.  Its tons easier for me just to cover them all in one go.

no problem with smp hair on my end, do have to occasionally reset smp at the start of a scene, especially weird angle ones, as the mouth can get wonky. quick smp reset fixes it completely tho.

Interesting, wonder why stuff is wonky then? If I use a non smp hair on the replacers , everything is fine. If I give them a smp wig, seems to stop functioning correctly or not at all.

Maybe it just needs the aforementioned smp reset ..but ?!

Ima try to build a Lydia with vanilla hair remake as that mod seems to not have these extra virtual pieces like KS Hair smp etc which I think / thought this was causing the issue(s)

did you change the setting to not disable smp with wigs?

It was a load order problem 0.o....
Alright im gonna see how crazy its going to be getting SMP hairs on these replacers without making the download ginormous. Not sure how possible thats going to be but Ill see what I can come up with.
