looking for a few resorses

Hi I'm wanting to make a small little mod to dragon bone armor, but i'm new to the idea of modding skyrim so here's what I'm looking for. the location to armor stats not the meshs but the actual scripts that say this armor has X armor and x weight yada yada yada, and the other is the script language used as well as a recommended program to open it and modify it.

The scripting is done in Papyrus. and I'm pretty sure the armor and weapon stats is found in the "items" tab in the CK (don't remember if that's the exact name, I don't have it in front of me right now)

You can edit the armors values in the creation kit. Steam offers the creation kit for Skyrim for free http://www.creationkit.com/ . Remember if you decide to re-texture the armor you need to modify the ground (GND), first person, and standard models. You too, I was diagnosed as severe, I did not learn to write properly until I was seven, and thank God for spell check.

As a fellow dyslexic, I encourage you to not let the little things slow you down. Remember Dyslexics have a very keen sense for detail, which makes them very good at jobs that require precision work. They often excel at art, interior decorating, and design in general.
