Ikaros Android Playthrough

I am Fancying having a playthrough with Ikaros androids on FO4 163 version...

But as i am not fully pc savvy on how to fully setup the ikaros part. I was wondering if someone that has done a playthrough could maybe give me some pointers on setup load order etc..

I am currently using MO2 with Fusion girl playing with Alyiss and Simpossible XX load out and I am going to setup a profile for Ikaros.

I have got as far as downloading the files from Trophy hunters website and put them in a separate storage folder for the time being as i work my way slowly through the outfits for ikaros...Any help advice pointers greatfully welcome and accepted.....

I never played Ikaros Android playthrough, but maybe this will help you.

ok did you get the clothing patches to the only clothes ikaros robots can wear? cause that mod though nice to look at and very pretty need you to batch build in bodyslides studios AND make sure you have every single patch for the clothes you can get along with making sure the body itself for when you start is zeroed yes its tedious but if done right its amazing but dont take my word for it either cause im just a rando on the internet

My advice would be to make sure, that there are no mixed texture sizes for any face textures or tints, otherwise you get the brown face bug and/or serious game stability issues. The default size is 1024 and 512 for specular maps. In short, when installing IKAROS simply select those face texture sizes and don't install any mods with face textures that are larger then 1K. 

 

When you make your Android character, select the default head option in the "Jaw" section in Looksmenu first, otherwise any hair or headwear will have the oversized Android head clipping through. Speaking of which, there's a patch for Azar Ponytails available here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/68287?tab=files

 

The (in my opinion) best available preset (and the one that I'm using) is "IKAROS ANDROID - Waifu preset" on Nexus. If you don't like the human skin parts then you can change these by going through the availabile face part options in Looksmenu.

 

Other then that, simply keep in mind that you are playing another "race", so any apparel that isn't patched will be invisible when you equip it. Anything can be patched manually by simply adding the IKAROS race to the given "Armor Addon" entry in Fo4edit but also keep in mind that any skin parts will still be human skin.

Hey I discovered this mod and I thought It would be enough to bring me back to a new playthrough.

Does anyone who has/had this mod know if the player character bleeds when shot or if there are sparks like shooting a gen 1 synth? Looking forward to an android mod that’s not just a reskin

No bleeding no sparks.

You get black damage decals on character rather than the red blood splotches.
