Tired of working all day on this!

Hello! I am new to the forums here but I have had it to above my head today. So last night early into the morning about 1am, I was playing my sims game for the first time in months. I noticed first that my storage in the game wouldn't keep anything there. No big deal I guess, but the next thing I knew I was looking for my wicked store to pick up some pads and chill out pills. The wicked store and everything was gone except the period tracker. Great. Then when I went to check on my basemental drugs app on the phone, only the Shaman and a doctors appt was available, not the store or anything. So I went and did what I had to and updated all of my mods, all from the penis mesh to the animations of many creators. Everything was updated, it took me hours. I also checked to make sure that the script and custom mods thing was checked on the options in the game. So I figured I had everything done, I even cleared the cache in the storage. Another words I followed all and any instructions I could find to fix my issue. I opened the game, everything loaded, EXCEPT the basemental drugs and the period tracker was still the only thing showing yet again. I'm obviously tired, I've modded my sims 4 game now for years, this is a new issue all after the sims update that had to happen last night. If anyone could help me, I would just like to play my game with my mods for at least an hour or two without issues. Thank you.

I'm assuming that you have updated your game to the most current version, correct? And I"m assuming that you have checked to make sure that custom content / script mods is checked in the Sims options.. I'm also assuming that WW and Basemental files are not more than 1 folder deep.. First thing to do is try the game with JUST WW and no other mods < you don't need to save or anything just to check that your WW is working>.. Do the same with Basemental.. If everything is working up to that point, you may need to do the 50 /50 method with all your mods to find out what may be conflicting.. It could be anything from an old script mod hiding in a folder, to a duplicate old WW settings or something along those lines.

I did do just the WW to see if it worked. It did, even greeted me on the game basically showing me it worked. I'll try the 50/50 method. Other times when I got the error message that  the game couldn't load I would just delete all mods and redownload them. I am trying to avoid that but I may have to do that again. Thank you so much for responding, I'll update either today or tomorrow. I am starting the process now.

A 50/50 will be the only way to figure it out for sure, but you mentioned you haven't played in months. If by that you mean "Since before August 19," then we can say with 99% certainty that you will find the problem lies with an old script mod. The August 19 update broke almost all of them, and most people who have suffered problems since eventually found an old unupdated script hiding somewhere in the mods folder causing the problems.

Okay, I did all updates I could find that were outdated. I even updated all of the cinerotic tv shows and such. When I opened the game to play, again the basemental drugs is only showing the doctors appt and the shaman stuff and the wicked app only shows the period tracker. I'm stumped and I am about to give up and erase all and restart all.

No, there must be some other mod that's causing the problem. If you have logs that your script file can get at, like WW.log or the last exception in BE, you might be able to track down what in your mod is causing the problem, if we're not too lazy.

Hey so that's not my first time hearing about last exception but its the MCC deaderpool thing sending me that. i don't really know how to fix that. Could that be messing up my basemental and wicked stuff?

If you received a log of the error recently, please upload it here. You can submit it using drag and drop.

WW and Basemental are fine, but there's conflicting data and old files somewhere. So, you're the one who's wrong...

Sounds to me like you have another script mod hiding somewhere that you probably forgot about. Upload whatever last exception logs you can find and we might be able to help you track it down. Don't despair! It's probably something small that you forgot you ever installed, but after quietly working in the background forever, the massive August update broke it, and now it's just causing you grief from somewhere in hiding!
