Xelsword's Warrens Classes


This mod adds new classes modelled after enemies to Darkest Dungeon: Drummer, Slasher, Chopper and Outcast. Designed after Swine Drummer, Swine Slasher, Swine Reaver and Swine Wretch respectively.

Drummer:

Support unit with mediocre SPD, Hp and low DMG and Crit. 

Skills:

-- Whack! XXOO-OOXX Normal DMG, Minor Damage Bonus vs Marked
-- Mark For Death OOOX-OOOO No DMG, Mark, Debuff -Dodge/-Prot%, Buff Team +CRIT vs Marked
-- Dazzling Beat OOXX-OOOX Low DMG, Stun
-- Disorienting Drum OOOO-OOOO Mediocre DMG, Remove Stealth, Shuffle Single
-- Restorative Rhythm OOOX-OOOO Heal 
-- Rhythm of Life OOXX-OOOO Group Heal, Debuff self: Rhythm Of Life: -1 HP Healed
-- Vitalizing March OOOX-OOOO Buff Team: +SPD, -20% stress (1 Battle) Heal Minor Stress

 

Camping Skills:

-- Invigorating Drumbeat (Cost 3) Team: Buff: +4% Crit / +6% Crit vs Marked
-- Heroic Melody (Cost 4) Team: +10% Damage (4 Battle), +15% Virtue Chance (Until Camp)
-- Focusing March (Cost 4) Other Heroes: +15% DMG vs Marked, +15% Armor Pierce vs Marked
-- Calming Rhythm (Cost 2) Single Hero: Stress Heal 10, Heal 15%, Remove Mortality Debuff

 

 

Slasher:

High SPD damage dealer with very low Hp and innate Protection.

Skills:

-- Headbutt XOOO-OOXX Damage Bonus vs Marked, Partial Armor Pierce vs Marked
-- Ramming OOXX-OOOX High Damage, Push 2, Forward 3, Bonus DMG vs Marked, Weak Stun Self
-- Scratch Up XOOO-OOOX Mid Damage, Bleed, +100% Bleed Amount vs Marked
-- Capricious Rage XXXO-OOXX Mid DMG, Small Bleed, Mark, Buff self: +DMG vs Bleeding / Mark Self / Activate Riposte for One Attack
-- Jawbreaker XOOO-OOXX Mid DMG, Push 1, Stun
-- Black Hide OOOO-Self Back 2 / Stealth (2 rounds) / Buff Self SPD, DMG, ACC
-- Bleating OOOO-OOOO Minor Team Stress Heal / Bonus Stress Heal vs Stunned/Afflicted, Clear Stun/Horror

 

Camping Skills:

- Adjust Chains (Cost 2) Buff Self: +Prot / +Stun Res
- Scurry (Cost 4) Produces Some Supplies + 10% scouting
- Hopscotch (Cost 2) Party Stress Heal 10
- Hoof Care (Cost 2) Heal 20% HP, Buff Move/Stun/Debuff Res

 

Chopper:

Frontline Fighter / Healer with multiple healing skills.

Skills:

-- Chop XXOO-OOXX High Damage, Minor Bonus DMG vs Marked, Minor Armor Pierce vs Marked

-- Mince XXOO-OOOX Low Damage, Bleed, Heal Self, +50% Healing Received vs Marked (Healing Counts as Eating)

-- Butcher's Feast OOOO-Friendly Heal, Destroys All Corpses (The healing counts as eating)

-- Hook XOOO-XOOO Low Damage, Pull 2

-- Reeling Strike XOOO-OOOX Low DMG, Push 2

-- Flail To Head XOOO-OOOX Lower DMG, Stun

-- Prepare To Feast OOOO-Friendly Cleave, Small Heal, +Bleed/Blight Res, +50% Healing Received from Eating

 

Camping Skills:

- Scavenge (Cost 3) Produce Some Food, +10% Scouting

- Feast (Cost 5)  Party Heal 25%, Other Heroes Stress Heal 8

- Tinker (Cost 3) Buff Self: +Prot/+Dot RES

- Guard (Cost 4) Prevent Ambush, -25% Heroes Surprised

 

Outcast:

Economy class, weak at combat. Loots extra gems when interacting with curios/ winning battles.

Skills:

-- Bite XOOO-OOOX Normal DMG, +Crit vs Marked

-- Bit O' Squeal OOOO-XOOO Mid DMG , +Crit vs Marked

-- Paint Curse OOOX-OOOO No DMG, Mark

-- Hide Behind! OOOO-Friendly Force Guard By Ally, Buff Dodge, Mark Target

-- Bandage Wounds OOOO-Friendly Weak Heal, Bonus Heal vs Marked

-- Encourage OOOX-OOOO Weak Heal Stress, +50% Stress Healed vs Marked

-- Mark As Hero OOOO-Friendly -25% Stress Received / +15% DMG / Mark

 

Camping Skills:

- Carve Trinket (Cost 4) Produce 1 Trinket (cannot be Very Common)

- Dig In The Ground (Cost 3) Produces 3 Gems

- Group Body Paint (Cost 3) Stress Heal 8, Buff all heroes: +5 Dodge (4 Battle)

- Mark Of Life (Cost 3) Buff One: Mark / Heal 10% HP / +25% Healing Received / +25% Stress Healing Received (4 Battle)
- Mark of The Calm (Cost 3) Buff One: +5 ACC / +5% Crit / -15% Stress / Mark / -3 SPD During First Round (4 Battle)
- Mark Of Strength (Cost 3) Buff One Other: +15% DMG / Mark (4 Battle)
- Mark Of The Coward (Cost 3) Buff One Other: +12 Dodge / 10% Prot / +2 SPD / +15% stress / Mark (4 Battle)

 

 

 

The internal workings of the classes, localization and design is done by me. The artwork for the skill icons, new sprites, effects and other are done by Midya of the North. The walk and idle animation for the classes are done by Fnakasjg. The original enemies were made by Xelsword. My thanks go out for them.

I am currently working on Chopper and Wretch. Those are in the plans, but I cannot animate so I must wait for someone else to do it. I have plans for carrion eater and Wilbur. I am also very busy with IRL stuff.

+ in the files i saw the trinket list, and i saw this:

I have the class for Xelsword's Wilbur planned, but: I have no animation for Wilbur yet and I am currently working on the class conversions for the Ruins Enemies.
So yeah, in the future Wilbur is likely to be converted into a hero.

The .txt file you found contains the trinkets I wrote up during the planning of the classes, it may include trinkets that do not exists within the mod or it may not have trinkets that exist in the mod.

If i may, what would be your plans going forward? like will you continue turning xelsword enemies into hero classes? would you be up to do the same to other enemy mods ? sry if someone else asked first i didnt read all the chat XD

i was expecting something with a rigid animation or just pngs deformating to simulate movement. But god damn it, i was wrong. New sprites, animations that fits perfectly with the Xelsword remakes and newest mods. i cant do more than claping with my buttchicks in full joy with this masterpiece
