Literal Plant Sims [Request]

Hello! I read this story on AO3 https://archiveofourown.org/works/67820076 (original work, not a fanfic) which goes through the process of turning people into living plants that are essentially living, immobile gardens that produce a specific crop for feeding the populace. I was wondering if this could be turned into a mod or something? Like, I read it for the concept because I've never seen anything like it before and now I'm obsessed with it (not any sexual components but the body modification).

 

Also, I know some things are definitely a bit out of range for the sims, and some ideas are a bit too niche, but I'd love to hear any theory crafting or like ideas that expand on this concept because I think it's pretty cool.

maybe a mod that "roots" a plantsim to the ground. Sims 3 plantsims could bury themselves underground and become literal plants for a while so something that uses that concept. That or making an object similar to farm animals that looks and acts like a humanish plant?

I've seen a lot of very outlandish and absurd ideas for mods on this site and this isn't one of them. 

But I will say that I don't usually see mod ideas become anything on here. Someone can correct if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem to happen very much. But I like the idea. Anything to make Plant Sims more interesting.
