Trouble with creature animations/sex

Hey'll!

 

So, I've been modding my Skyrim the last couple of days... Gettin' Sexlab and all that up and running, with some trial and error but I think I've got it moslty working correctly now.

BUT... There's always a but...

 

I can't seem to get any creature animations/sex to work...

I've installed the following to support creatures:

 

Sexlab (obviously)

ZazAnimationPack
FNIS + FNIS Creatures

BestialityAnimationPack

BestialityExtras

 

From this, I've got several plugins which are supposed to support creature sex:

Dangerous Nights

Sexlab Defeat

Sexlab Dangerously Nude

Sexlab MatchMaker

Sexlab Victim (Dogs/horses addon/plugin) + Original Sexlab Victim

Puppet Master

 

And for a last few misc mods:

Sexlab Nude Creatures

Sexlab Aroused

 

...

So I've basicly tried with any of these mods directly, with dogs by my side when sleeping, using spells, all that nonsense.. But nothing :s

As an example, when I try to use MatchMaker and choose the two acters (my char and a dog). My char just ends up doing a solo animation (masturbating).

 

I can't figure out what is causing this, I havn't seen any reports of incompatibilities on any of the mod-threads, any help would be appriciated! :)

 

PS: I would love to post my load order, but not sure how to extract it from nexus mod manager :s

You have to enable creature animations.

 

- Open Esc menu

- Select Mod Configuration

- Select SexLab

- Choose animation settings

- Tick Allow creature animations

Did that...

 

Should proberly mention that I went through each and every setting on all of my mods, including every single one not listed above, for a creature animation button or the like.

Did you use FNIS tool for registering animation? I know, that is a sturid thing to ask, but I must.  :blush:

Yes I did do this :s

 

Any idea how I copy my load order? MAYBE, just maybe, that would have an impact.

Just to check when you run FNIS do you get the

 

create creature behavior

reading sexlabcreatures

 

before it lists the number of animations it loaded etc?

 

Just making sure cause if you are not getting those two lines then we know FNIS for some reason is not installing the creature animations correctly which would be the problem.

For the record, I don't think you NEED BestialityAnimationPack, just the BestialityExtras. Maybe wrong, perhaps there's another mod that requires it, but I've gotten by just fine without it.

It might not hurt to uninstall it and try without it, though.

 

 

Try running FNIS again and copypasting the full log here, warnings and all (don't worry if it says something about legal copies or freaky fetishes, we don't judge :P.. and FNIS will call anything not installed on the OS partition "not installed from a legal (Steam) directory", even if installed through Steam on a different drive/partition).

So just to confirm, human on human sex is working just fine it is only the creatures that are not working correct? Just trying to see if this is a creature only related issue or a larger issue with all animations.

 

I don't know a lot about troubleshooting but your FNIS seems to be installing everything right. Which is why I am asking if human on human are working.

yeah, been having same problem. To troubleshoot:

 

  • A quick revert to vanilla [uninstalled creation kit and enb]
  • Install only necessary mods, skse, skyUI etc.
  • Run FNIS through ModOrganizer
  • Review overwrite file in MO
  • Configure all mods in MCM
  • Attempt to get animations working; some do work, others do not.

I'm not gonna reinstall everything atm. I'm going to reinstall windows soon anyways, so will just do it then, although it is kinda annoying that the animations won't work correctly.

All of the other animations seem to work as they should, only the animal animations don't work, well those I've tested. I've only tested dog and wolf.

Well I had that problem and mine was I was not using the lastest version of FNIS with the latest version of FNIS creatures. But it seems you are so the animations are being detected. And you are sure they are turned on in sexlab and any other mod you are using. Since most of them by default have the animations turned off. The last thing is you are sure the animations are all clicked under the sexlab creature animations? Should be a list of them but I think they come clicked on by default.

 

At this point if all of that is true I am honestly out of idea's on what the problem could be.

Not necessarily.  It just means that it's somewhere unexpected.  For example, you manually move your skyrim installation to another folder/drive instead of using Steams feature to move the installation.  However, judging by the path ( ".../TSEV Skyrim LE/...") I would say - "Yep, that looks like a pirate version to me".  That particular folder name is a known name for pirated versions.

Best to read what Fore says about the bug at official mod location, not pirating, just programs not functioning well with one another. Going to try installing above basic mods via NMM, see if results improve with creature animations. 

 

edit: So, it is a problem with ModOrganizer vs FNIS/SL Framework. When using Nexus Mod Manager with FNIS/SL framework all animations are working as intended. If you are using MO, just install the relevant creature mods with NMM, run FNIS, then uninstall the mods in NMM, and you will have the proper hkx files needed to run everything properly in Mod Organizer.

I'm using NMM for most of my mods. (A few manual like SKSE. I have not used MO)

And yes, I am using a pirated version. I've for a longer time had a problem with Skyrim and main drive, installing it through steam would always result in corrupted files and the like. Hence I'm using that version. Should not change anything.

 

EDIT:. YES... -.- I did click every possible button I could :P Else I don't think we've made it this far in the topic.

Anyway... I think the only real thing to do now is proberly just to reinstall. I'm reinstalling windows soon, and for that I would actually want to know if you could help me with a proper install order?

 

For this skyrim install I have experimented with mods, toggling on and off, so that might have had an impact aswell...

 

So if you could help me with a proper install order and way (Which to do manualy and which to use MO or NMM for), and maybe some guidence on load order? If it's not too much :3

I could be wrong but I think some of the mods won't work on a pirated version like FNIS which seems to search if it is a legit copy or not. I might be completely wrong but I think that is the case. Which means if true you won't be able to get it to work.

I do not see how the mods are able to identify it as a pirated version, the location is not an identifier, and pretty confident that the steam crack is not really identifiable from a 3rd party mod/app. So this I do not think is the case, but I could be wrong.
