Game is CTD on loading screen when loading save

my game is crashing whenever I load my game, some help with how I fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Launching a new game and starting over does work, but I'd like it if I didn't have to and knew what was causing the problem.

The callstack was unwound incorrectly. Switch to a competent crash logger.

crash-2025-03-19-18-14-10.log This crash log more useful?

What did you do before skyrim boot up - mod reinstall, update removal etc..

Previous saves working or not?

I updated SubmissiveLola, Devious Devices NG and STA, and added Dynamic Armor Variants, past save do not work.

Ah, the archnemesis of all stable playtroughs - mods update. Honestly can't tell anything from this,(not keen with crashlog.) Obviously, some of the mods changes player base (prisoner base id), which seems to be the problem.

Well, for starters - revert 1 by 1 updated mods to older versions, see if this helps. Dont forget to check overwrite (if u using MO2) to their respective output.

Wild guess - DD NG and dynamic armor variants are my main suspects.

For comperhensive answer for crash log I suggest to wait for traisons' reply

Your issue is in form id 0x00000167 which is of type ImageSpace. Inspect this in xEdit, resolve conflicts if there are any. If its still not working then disable the mod that's currently altering it, or alter the load order such that it no longer takes priority, or delete this record from the mod that's currently providing it.

PrideoftheNiben is changing that record. Remove its override and test again. Also may want to check your xEdit settings and filters for why the 2nd column is hidden like that.

I think I removed the override (very likely I don't know what I'm doing and I didn't though), and I can't figure out why the 2nd column is hidden.

yep, got no idea what I'm meant to do.

How about testing if the changes you made to PrideoftheNiben fixed the issue.

If it didn't then consider disabling or otherwise changing EngineFixes, as it had something to do with the crash as well. Perhaps try disabling its memory allocator, since tbbmalloc was also involved.

Edit: In case you're wondering why I'm not spelling it out for you, then the reason is that crash logs only point to where the crash occured. It tells me very little if anything about the hundereds of mods you have installed. And no, posting the load order or plugin list is not going to help if you ask me - any mod could contain thousand of files and plugin record edits not to mention any edits you have made made yourself. Another way to put that is to say I can tell you were the problem is, but figuring out why its a problem is up to you and your modding tools. I can have another look at the crash log, perhaps throw EngineFixes.dll or skse64.dll into a disassembler to try and figure out what its doing, if you think it necessary. But I have a feeling this is all going to be related to loading a save game and all I could say from that is "yup, it's loading a game".

Okay after a while of testing I found out what mod was causing the issue and crashing my game on loading screen, (mostly be trial and error to see what mods were crashing my game on new saves whenever I loaded) and Devious Devices NG 0.4.0 is apparently my reason.

idk why, but game did end up just no longer crashing after disabling it.
