The beyond skyrim mods will be released as esm so you'll be able to create your own quests and modifications in their worldspace. It's probably better to wait for their release and concentrate on your quests, stories and npcs because you'll never be able to create something comparable with a small team in a short period of time, unless of course you just quicly retexture skyrim assets and pretend it's something new, like many other mods on the nexus (as for skyblivion architecture, don't forget that it's a direct port from tes4. Personally I don't care but many website won't allow you to upload it).

Your project is nice but don't underestimate the task, or you'll just be discouraged and drop it like many others before : /

What we've designed about Cyrodiil might be totally different with that of Beyond Skyrim, have conflicts on the lore. I'm quite sure of it, because what we've planned about the story might be something the others would have never imagined, or never thought to make it in Skyrim. For example, very few people thought they can join the "racist and totalitarian (is it the truth? or just the opinion of NPCs and players?)" Thalmor, or should I say, very few want to join them - but we're making it happen.

We're not expecting to finish it within a short period. I'm expecting 2 years, believing that we can finish it within this period and TESVI won't be announced during these 2 years.

But you've got the point. Copyright is an issue of Skyblivion, and that's what me might discuss in the future if we're borrowing their works. But we've expected to finish the part of Cyrodiil ourselves, and I have confidence on us.

Thanks for your appreciation and reminding. We'll keep in mind of our tasks, and try our best to overcome the problems :)

There will be 2 S.C., depending on your side chosen in the CW.

Well, I think it would be a huge spoiler if I post the armor ideas here.

You see, you've put much effort and caring to our project, so why don't you become one of us? You can still only do the stuffs you favor.

Send me an email if you wish :) (gahatimdragon@hotmail.com)

The beginning (about the first 20%) of the story of SC(imperial) is about to be done, will work on SC(stormcloak) very soon.

I believe the product of the mini-start will be released soon. If there's any papyrus or CK talents please let me know!

Also, I've canceled some names from the name list.

They've been missing since they sent me the emails. Please don't make such fun, we're taking everything serious.

What follows the end of the Skyrim Civil War and the death of Emperor Titus Mede II, is a continent with a chaotic, terrible political situation. Powers of Cyrodiil hold their forces, dream to make themselves or their masters as the ruler of Tamriel, so their infinite desire of power can reach to an optimal point for them.

After crimson coups and cruel fights, an unexpected person took the place.

The dull-witted positionless illegitimate son of Titus Mede II and a simple Breton merchant Lyondol, Valexedius Mede, becomes the lord of the White Gold Tower.

Under the reign of the young emperor, the gap between the rich and poor in Cyrodiil is enlarged rapidly, the monopoly of the Cyrodiilic consortia reaches to the most serious state, and the corruption among the officers seems to be uncleanable. Even the Province of High Rock hears no longer the imperial command, and forms an alliance with the Kingdom of Hammerfell.

Redguard bandits assault cities whenever they like, pornography, gambling and skooma are publicly, widely promoted.

As the emperor visits brothels and casinos every night.

Since Valexedius' ascendancy to the throne, the chair is empty - for every moment.

Compared to the decaying nation, the economy of the Aldmeri Dominion grew better and better since the Great War. Till the rise of Valexedius, in average, the income of a simple Khajiit farmer in Elsweyr is greater than the sum of 3 farmers in Cyrodiil.

Having such a relatively wonderful life, people in the Dominion appreciate the reign of the Aldmeri Council.

The Aldmeri Council is the council ruling the Aldmeri Dominion. It's formed by 5 elves, all were champions and leaders of the Altmers since the Altmeri National Anti-Monarchy War, who overthrown the tyranny of King Satheny of Alinor.

Since the establishment of the new Aldmeri Dominion, the council's power, and members, have never changed.

Meanwhile, in Skyrim, the Nords' hatred towards the Thalmor rise. Their hostility start to point at their foreign neighbors, and many Nords are using any way they could, to humiliate, to persecute those who have Aldmeri and Khajiit blood. Even the jarls couldn't intervene their people's actions.

Are the jarls powerless, or pleased?

Innocents shall be blamed, blood of the philanthropists shall be drank by the powers, savage shall replace the civilized, intelligence and talents shall be swallowed, and the beast which devour conflicts and martyrs shall rise from the depth;

Revolution against the tyrant shall begin, and the another world-shaking, life-reaping war, shall start.

Story changed:

1. The Independent State of Alinor (Summerset Isles) is now governed by the Aldmeri Council, the president and the Central Parliament of Alinor. The current president is the chairwoman (leader) of the Thalmor, the 4 chief councilors are chief executives of 4 Thalmor departments. These 5 people governed the Summerset Isles since the fall of monarchy. The president and the parliament govern the Summerset Isles ONLY.

2. High officers of the Thalmor have the opportunity to become councilors of the parliament for at most a hundred years, such that the parliament has dozens of councilors. The Thalmor ambassador Elenwen used to be one of the councilors.

3. The Aldmeri Council governs all of the Aldmeri Dominion. The chairwoman of the Aldmeri Council is the chairwoman of the Thalmor. Unlike the central parliament, the Aldmeri Council has only 7 members (including the chairwoman). 3 of the 4 chief councilors of the Central Parliament of Alinor are councilors of the Aldmeri Council, so 4 members are from Alinor. 2 of the rest 3 are Khajiits from Elsweyr and 1 is a Bosmer from Valenwood. So, the Aldmeri Council has 3.5 Altmers, 2 Khajiits, 1.5 Bosmers.

4. Homosexual is illegal in the Aldmeri Dominion. During his ages of exile, Feralon (a powerful Altmer chief councilor in both the parliament and the Aldmeri Council) had his brother murdered by a gay Breton; during the Altmeri National Anti-monarchy War, he had his wife killed by a gay traitor. Their deaths constructed Feralon's hatred towards the homosexuals. By his power in the Aldmeri Dominion, he made homosexual illegal.

5. Two chief councilors of the Central Parliament of Alinor are secret lovers, and both of them are ladies.

6. The creator of Anti-monarchism of Tamriel is no longer the Thalmor. Now, its creators are social scientists M'asa and Unglosh gro-Skertak, who were insulted, defamed by Empress Morihatha, and executed in 3E 331 and 3E 332 respectively.

I'm intrigued to see the Thalmor fully fleshed out. I can understand why Bethesda didn't make them playable to us (just like in Oblivion, we couldn't become Mythic Dawn), but it's a shame there wasn't more to them other than being another flavour of bland bigotry.

Reading from your description, it looks there are two requirements for the Dominion expansion to go ahead:

1) The Civil War must have ended in some fashion

2) Emperor Titus Mede II has been assassinated

So, by that, as a player, you must have both finished either the Imperial or Stormcloak questions AND be a member of the Dark Brotherhood and finished that questline as well. Or are you looking to implement other mechanics that these events can occur without the player?

My only concern with the Civil War portion is that the questline is severely bugged on both sides, with many bugs being unresolvable, like Message to Whiterun. No amount of console commands will get you through that quest and into the next stage if it decides to bug out. So are there any plans to put workarounds or alternatives in for triggering the expansion? Or will it require the two quesltines to be completed by the player?

You don't necessarily join the Dark Brotherhood.

There are 3 ways to fulfill the DB requirement:

a. Join the DB and kill Emperor Titus Mede II.

b. Kill Grelod and destroy the Dark Brotherhood.

c. Save Grelod and destroy the Dark Brotherhood. (new alternative added in Dominion)

Even if you "destroyed" the DB, the emperor can still be assassinated - don't forget that you can't kill children in Skyrim.

Sorry but it's a must for the civil war to be ended, due to logical concern. We don't recommend you completing the civil war by using console commands, but when it becomes a must, try use the debug mechanism of CWO.
