Out of nowhere I'm getting this error when trying to start up Skyrim.  "REL/Relocation.h(567): failed to open file".  I read on STEP that this indicates I have a file w/o a master.  If so, I can't find it.  Both LOOT and Wyrbash don't detect delinquent or absent masters.  Any way to track down the culprit other that one by one manual search?

NM:  I think this was True Directional Movement giving me the hassle after the update.  I had another problem with loading the game which I solved by deleting skyrim.  I'm so done fucking around with this damn game.  Maybe I'll be back in 5 years.  But as of now I can't see myself buying any Bethesda games again.  They aren't good enough to play without modding, and modding is too much of a pain in the ass for me to want to deal with.  I could go back to pre AE, but no desire to look at a bunch of cool mods being developed which I can't play.  I'm gonna go learn a language or something.   I will take less time and be a hell of a lot easier.

Amen bruh, however technically your problem is not with Bethesda in this case but rather Steam and the environment that made Steam - blame lazy and incompetent people of the past. You may have a copy of my utility that locks down Steam and protects your games if you want - lets not let the establishment ruin our fun. Drop me a PM or something if interested.

Thanks Traison, I may just need to time to want to deal with this again.  This was not Steam or even Bethesda's fault this time, but rather mine.  I had the Readonly lockdown on the manifest and I was fine.  I just got greedy and janked my game up trying to update to the lasted patch so I could get OBody working without the Racemenu bug which was fixed in the later versions, but would haunt me with occassional CTDs unless I upgraded.  I thought about going back to 1.5.97 but I'm guessing that that OBody crash still applied.  I had 1.6.64 stable and could go back to that... but have no desire to rebuild everything.   In any case, I'm not rage-quitting.  I'm probably just rage-pausing.  I'll pout for a bit and be back eventually... like all Skyrim addicts.
