CDT on load save

Hey I recently started a new playthrough with Live Another Live, starting in Solitude. It's the third time I start a new save, reducing the list of mods each time, and still get this problem. Also, I notice that the performance drops a lot when open spaces like in Solitude itself, so maybe I'm guessing my corruption problem has something to do with SexLab Arousal, Lover's Comfort, Lover's Hook... I don't have a clue what's hapening, to be honest. Here's the load order:

A few things off the top of my head

 

You do not need to load 2 night settings from COT.. use either 6 or 7.

The supreme fog version you are using is not the COT compatible one.. and it probably will not do anything where you have it in your load order.

 

What gives you the impression that any of the sexlab mods are causing your crashes?

Also.. did you install any texture upgrades.  Especially anything to make your world map higher quality?   These can have some effect in creating CTD on startup and infinite load screens.  They will not show up in your load order.

Thanks for your answer, and for pointing out my mistake with COT, when I installed the translation patch I must have selected 6 by mistake instead of overwriting 7.

 

Well I have a few guesses concerning Aroused and Lover's Hook, the performance dropdown (more than usual, I mean), surrounded by high number of NPCs (concretely in Rodvaar's execution, right after I did my last save). Secondly, now my save won't load at all, it remains stucked endessly in the loading screen. Third, very weird, when I disable the SexLabAroused.esm, and try to load the save, the message warning about missing content won't appear, just go through, and finally, when I disable lovershook.esm, the message appear, and the savegame finally loads...

 

So my guessing it is has something to do with scripts corrupting my savegame, but I'm not sure how could I confirm that. Now WyreWash shows my saves as orange instead of purple, I don't really know the reason...

 

Edit: Yeah I have the high quality texture map, disabling it right now. But just to be clear, my CDT (now endesly loadscreen, at the moment), its when I load my last save, not on startup. And also body textures for CBBE by Navetsea. Also Apachii Hair Natural Retexture.

removing the world map should alleviate some of the problem.   The less strain you put on your Vram will go a long way in maintaining game health.    Removing mods and testing them on an existing save will not really do much for you.  It leads to all kinds of problems.   Scripts will still remain in your saved game even without a mod on your hard drive.

 

The best way to test is to use alternate start and start at the bannered mare in whiterun.   Exit the city and run around the wide open area for a while.. see if you get any CTDs.. save your game outside near the honningbrew building then try to reload there.  

 

I used aroused myself and there have not been any problems.  I don't know about lovershook.. but I suspect your problem is more likely something else.  If you are really worried about it. Start a fresh save.. and load very few mods.   It's always easier to add mods later.  Once you load a mod, however... You should never remove it. (unless it is just a texture mod)

That'd be my 3rd fresh start in one day... The first one I had more mods enabled than I listed here, then used the ones I listed, and now I'll probably go just with SexLab mods to do a more intensive testing. I'm convinced it has something to do with Lover's Comfort / Lover's Hook plus Aroused, but I'd like to be sure cause I really like these.

Good luck!  Keep track of your saves and where you enabled modifications.

You can always add mods later.  Removing them is where problems occur.
