Male Skyrim Follower

I have heard several requests for a male follower mod and would consider putting one together if there was enough interest. However, not being someone who sees the pressing need I would need some guidance as to what, precisely, was desired. So I have started this Thread/Poll. 

 

Here is one such request:

 

"A Male follower Mod is sorely needed for some of the mod content on this site!! I have requested someone to build a follower mod for a male who is a Bad Boy, but none have been made so far."

 

However, if you have different ideas I would be willing to explore them.

 

Please let me know where you would like to find him (please avoid already crowded areas). Also, I could be persuaded to add a few lines of unique dialogue (unvoiced). If you have ideas in this regard please let me know.

 

A couple of provisos: I'll consider doing this if there are sufficient results and the resulting "picture" interests me. It will be an LE male NPC. Someone else will need to convert him to 64 bit (although from the responses on my other follower mods it appears that for some people this change is no big deal).

The AI should not be the standard dialogue as they say stuff like I will follow you, or I'm here to protect you, and if you use him in say Submissive Lola it doesn't work for the playthrough. The whole Good/Bad scenario, pick one, either your good or your bad.

The Bad Boy should neglect the PC, even without Lola, maybe abandon her in combat, sell her to bandits, forsworn, take potions from her, Take Gold, Use and abuse her.

Is Barbarian (Two Handed Light Armor) not an archetype found in the Creation Kit?

As for location, possibly the Temple of Mara in Riften. It is not overused and it would be theme appropriate for any romantic interest characters.

The advantage of using the game's AI is that it's voiced. Additional lines can be added but they are unvoiced. I would be loath to "throw the baby out with the bath water."

 

As far as his behavior, how much of that would be stand alone as opposed to what situations you put him in (i.e., what mods you use). I can do something outside the mods (make it standalone) like I did with my Cynthia follower. She has specific dialogue when her arousal breaks 90. I can certainly arrange for a follower to leave her in combat (that just means making him a coward - we've all seen the coward with the bandits that attack the Player). Getting the NPC to sell the player requires a commitment to a single mod (i.e., sell her through Submissive Lola, Sanguine's Debauchery, etc.) If so, that makes that mod a requirement for the follower (which I would prefer to avoid).

 

If we are looking for locations near Whiterun I would suggest either the tavern in Rorikstead or Riverwood. It makes it less likely that the NPC will be attacked until found by the Player. (I've used some of the bandit hideouts in the area with my other followers).

You have a point...I just think some of the voiced lines are not needed, especially the ones where "He" would be consoling, supportive, or loving.

Not so much the Coward but a self important, protect my own ass, don't really care about any one but himself, "Me First" kinda guy.

I was simply pointing out that having the AI to have the NPC to abandon the player already exists.

Light Armor (please specify: Any relatively low level armor that doesn't clash with race. Thieves guild outfit, blackguard's armor and executioner outfit aren't used much.

 

Other (please specify): Dual wielding followers are rare maybe that.

 

You should decide location after race. A redguard could be around falkreath hold because hammerfell border is close. An orc could be in one of the strongholds. Maybe on one of the ships in solitude docks.

1- Bad boy , particularly inclined to sex ?

2- Nord/Redguard

7- Without clothes/armor , for the reason you have already mentioned

I try to "think outside the Box", so much of what was voted for is just copy and paste from other male follower mods.

If I were taking the time to build a "Bad Boy" follower, I would not want to follow the Wide Path but the Narrow one where one actually makes the path.

Not stumbling over the ruts of former travelers.

Just my opinion, nothing more, no asks.

I would prefer a follower of a race, body type and temperament that has not already been done to death or to near perfection, personally. Much of what people are voting for can be found on the Skyrim Romance or Kaidan sites.

How about a Sultry Argonian Bard follower or a Summonable Dremora Dominator for something different?

I agree, if I wanted a Nord follower, I already have one or two or ten choices already.

The singing would put me in a Murderous state towards the Bard, more murderous than usual.    but I like the Later!

Does the male follower specifically have to be an Adult thing? Or can you convert one from nexus? 

Although I guess lack of facial hair means we want a man that looks more closer on the younger side. A bit few and far between on other sites.

This is probably also due to the fact that the majority of players who are on a website with porn mods are male.

And since they are essentially heterosexual... the need for male companions is very low.

The fact that many male players create a female character doesn't change that!

That and the fact that there are entire modding sites dedicated to male character oriented mods. The Male Content Callout Thread goes unused for long stretches of time in no small part due to the fact that posters can go elsewhere to a place where they know that other people posting in the thread are in it for the same reasons that they are rather than just admiring their male in-game counterparts.

One thing that could make another purely aesthetic male follower mod stand out from the others is to use body types that will not be used on sites like Vectorplexis.com like Ultimate Body Overhaul (which could be seen as the perfect Femboy body creator) or HHPMS.
