I present to you my Starbound mod :

Shin's Races Makeover

Shortly what this mod does is rework every playable vanilla races appearance.

I also applied the changes to all SexBound's animations.

- About it :

I wasn't satisfied with the many other mods that changed the looks of the vanilla races. So I decided to make my own full races makeover from scratch. It is not an attempt at making it more lore friendly or anything, it's just based on personal preferences.

I don't intend to make a SFW version of this mod because it would go against the original intention. But you are free to modify it however you want as long as you credit me as the original creator (Either jakesnake128 or Shinlalala are both my usernames online).

 

This is my first time making a mod for Starbound, don't hesitate to give me feedback, especially if you encounter any bugs or incompatibility. Also sorry if my English is not perfect, it's not my mother tongue.

- How to install :

Just drop the .pak file into "\Starbound\mods" for the full mod.

 

You can also use the "unpak" version if you ever want to modify it or remove some of it to make it more compatible with other mods.
For exemple : to remove the changes to the humans, remove those folders : "Shin Races Makeover\artwork\humanoid\actor1\human" ; "Shin Races Makeover\artwork\humanoid\actor2\human" ; "Shin Races Makeover\humanoid\human".

 

- Recommended mods :

There's no requirement to make this mod work, but I recommend a few mods to make it better.

 

1.  SexBound Reborn - Not required, but recommended as it was made initially to work with it.
2.  Argle Bargle's Alt Heads & Hair (Floran) - I initially wanted to redo the faces and hair of the Floran, but Argle Bargle already did an amazing job with his mod. I use it in my screenshots.
3.  aiigca's Avian Emotes - Avian are really inexpressive, this mod corrects this.

- Detailed modifications :

Here's a list of what I did precisely with this mod.

Spoiler

• All races :
  -Added visible genitals and nipples
  -Made the chest and crotch area smoother
   
• Human :
  -Removed their underwear
  -Changed their eyes and expressions
  -Made them less shiny
• Avian :
  -Changed their body fluff pattern
  -Added a small tail
• Apex :
  -Changed their eyes and expressions
  -Reduced their pronounced brow ridge and removed their mouth line
  -Removed chest hair from females, making it more revealing
  -Made them less shiny
• Floran :
  -Changed the chest leaf pattern to make it more revealing
  -Removed the legs separation lines
  -Changed the color of their genitals in their SexBound's animations
• Hylotl :
  -Just slight changes, they are already good as is
• Glitch :
  -Complete makeover of their body making them look more like androids
  -Smoothed their faces and changed their eyes and expressions
• Novakid :
  -Just slight changes, they are already good as is

Nice work, I really like how different the glitch look.

I tried my hand at giving the human male a slightly longer dick and making it move during the falling animation.

How do you like it? I'm not much of an artist. (so far I've only really tried adding naughty bits to Pokemon sprites)

Oh wow, someone actually bothered redoing the whole race artworks... Huh.

Helpfully provided the unpack so we can view and cherry pick files, excellent... Replaced or added nothing unnecessary so it doesn't break anything else...

Yeah, yep, this one is legit, 100%, good work.

The problem is that if you change the silhouette too much, it would go through clothes.

I didn't even think about that because my char always wears his open cultist robes and I thought 'Might as well make his dick more noticable'.

guess I should try out regular clothes to see if there are issues

 

Edit: wore some actual armor and the dick really does poke out the bottom, guess I'll keep the same cosmetic armor forever to avoid having to fix it

I just found this mod and it's just perfect for making femboys the way I wanted.
There's a mod on Steam that theoretically makes males become femboys, but when you look at it, it just took the female body and removed the breasts.
But in your case, I just need to take the bodies and remove the extra pixels from the back, and I'll have a body that looks more effeminate and delicate, but without being totally feminine.
