I posted on the actual Wicked Whims thread, should have done so here, I have an idea for an all nsfw save in Newcrest that involves having porn actresses streamers etc, I have the AEW Mod I found a porn studio in the downloads section I am even thinking about adding a strip club to the save, I am wanting to know what more or less could enhance this idea ? kind of bored doing the normal gameplay loop with a little sex added here and there.

This mod makes no sense. I'm using this mod so my sim can make porn. So, when does that happen? It goes to work only to talk to fellow employees, there is no 'video making" and I've noticed that some of the directions given have no corresponding dialog or action associated with it, and this goes for the 'meet and greet" event as well, which was a complete waste of time, and the reward is worthless. My question is when does the mod you made which allows my sims to work in porn actually have them make one?

Make sure that you have the Lot51 core. It has been required for months for proper scripting but has only recently taken over from XML Injector for the purpose of XML Injection. I think this is an issue some of you have been having lately.

Anyone else having problems getting "Meet a Fan" to work? Even when reaching all goals the bar wont process / increase so there is no sex happening at all.

Something that is making me scratch my head with the career track are the photography and fame requirements. I thought the point was to get famous doing porn, not get famous THEN do porn, then get more famous(?). Also, why is photography something your character has to worry about when that's technically not the role they are signing up for? I could understand if there was a separate career path for film and photography, but there isn't in this mod, from what I can tell.

How do i send a sim to the residential location? It says click front desk but the desks and computers arent working. Is it a specific item im missing from build buy for the lot?

It's still there for me. It's the desk called "The Front Desk" in build/buy mode.

I just hit the AWE 5th job promotion and it says one of the objectives is to 'Pick a Scene to shoot' on my computer, but I don't see the AWE category on my Sim's computer?

Is sex completely optional for completing a work day in the porn career? My sim chose several scenes on the computer but all the instructions during the work day expect them to exercise, eat something or talk to coworkers and it doesn't matter which scene is chosen (traveling to a residential lot merely changes the location the co-workers hang out at with no effect on the tasks). It would be cool if there were actual porn scenarios that need to be accomplished for a successful work day.

It sounds like you don't have Lot51's core library which is required to inject the interactions.

The top goal set is the "plot" of the scene. If you complete them, sex will be the last goal on that list. The other goals help you gain fame, get to know your co-workers, or stay alive.

It's under social on your phone similar to a date. There is an option to invite a fan to meet-up.

I really should copy the details of the mods I download and save that somewhere to refer to, was going to be asking about the active career element of AWE but I see now that won't happen until level 5.  One thing I was wondering however, is whether the career can be made for only same sex scenes?

I haven't seen anything in the pdf provided as well as ingame as to how "fans" are acquired as my sim has been streaming quite often, is at lvl 5 of the career and still has 0 fans.

Are fans unique sims or do they behave like the follower count does for the social network stuff ?

I haven't set any limitations on which of the coworkers can participate in a scene. There is guaranteed to be at least one of each gender present.

The number of fans on streaming doesn't do anything at the moment. Reworking the streaming feature is one of my future plans and may come sooner than later depending on how the new scenes develop.

I also encountered a similar problem.

 

I already installed the latest version of Lot51's core library.

 

According to the log51_core.log file, the script recognizes AWE, as you can see the screenshot below:

When I click a computer in the movie studio, there's no AWE dialog.

The stricter I make a filter, the more likely that the game will generate a random Sim, so I'm not planning on changing the filters for the production staff.

 

Can you show me the desk and computer that you are trying?

I have avoided the problems that came with the new game update. Once you have downloaded the new version of WW and Lot51 Core, you should be good to go for my careers.
