How do I use a downloaded Sim / modded CAS?

I downloaded a couple custom sims and can't find them. Are they supposed to show up as townies or do I have to make them in CAS? Please help.

Enter CAS

Open Gallery (F4)

Click on the "My Library" button at the top

And set these settings:

some of my undressable clothing cc won't show up in game. should i check for something in the settings?
