Weird looking chest with 3BA bodies

Remove the existing body mesh.

Conform all shapes.

Copy weights.

Deselect reference.

Save.

 

(these are all menu items, no rocket science)

No Dorryn, it'd be nice, but you can't

 

Bodyslide preset, Racemenu preset. different. (An external Racemenu editor would be really cool, if one existed, but afaik one doesn't)

 

Bodyslide&Outfit Studio has two sides, one for simple fitting (Bodyslide) (and preset adjustment), the other for more extensive editing of resources (Outfit Studio)

What conversion needs to be done on Racemenu presets? Especially when you're going from CBBE to a CBBE derivative? I mean even the plugin providing the morph sliders for Racemenu has the same name in both mods so you don't even have to rename that. Would be useful to know which aspect did not work.

right....I was just answering the question "Wait... You can open a Racemenu preset in Bodyslide ???" And the answer is ... No.

 

As far as converting a Racemenu that refers to one body over another, idk to be honest.

Oh I got the impression you fixed your preset issue and repurposed the thread for another followup problem.

 

I opened up the preset you linked and it's full of transforms from RMFPlugin_* and RMX*, aadjusting breast nodes among other things. The preset just needs to be "cleaned", it's not a CBBE/3BA issue. Here's the preset with all transforms removed, test and see if its more to your liking.

Huh no, the issue for which I just send 2 screenshot is the same as the one I described in the OP.

Use more better and cleaner working body-model: CBBE-SMP for example.

The most 3BBB stuff is experimental for some collision-effects, quite unrealistic wobble-impressions and not serious for a game.

And if you want to stay in any case with experiments, you should be aware of the correct skeleton- use, a correct physics-use and of a correct BS-use.

At the beginning of consuming mods mostly too much at once.

Quite lot of time staying here without further results.

...because the whole thing worked more than a year ago and then I had a crash - and probably "changed" a lot during the rebuild (this time without MME) *sigh*

@Dorryn, Are you using the Improved Camera mod by any chance?

 

As far as I can tell (from my own game, which does use Improved Camera), the "RMF" and "RMX entries" embedded into the preset, that @traison noted in their last reply, are present in every one of my Racemenu presets that have been resaved while using the Improved Camera mod. Afaik, as to what they're there for... they're involved in switching visible body assets between 1st and 3rd person,

 

@traison, how did you purge that content from the jslot Dorryn provided? Manually deleting each piece by line edit, or is there an easier way? 

Edit: ...I think I already know the answer, although I think I also don't like the answer ;)

No I'm not. I am using Smoothcam, but it may be deactivated in the MCM. Not sure.

Hmm. maybe smooth cam also introduces that stuff. I never saw it in any of my presets until I started using improved camera.

 

Is the file you posted direct from its source, or the preset *after you've used it?  (every one of the racemenu presets I've employed in-game while using the mod has the same/similar injected RMX/RMF content in the "transforms" section)... And NONE of the presets I haven't resaved since installing Improved Camera have any of the injected content.

I used the preset as it was made, straight from the mod. Didn't modify it in any way. If @traison found those transforms, it's because they're in the preset as the mod author made it.

Ok., digging through a bunch of downloaded presets I archived, And yes, I find that many contain the same transform entries. 

 

I was wrong. Not sure where they're from but I guess it's not Improved Camera or Smooth Cam

 

Sorry for any misdirection I caused with that claim.
