Well, unfortunately only the creator can tell us this, the reason, why the SMP DLL for LE, it is very late, and no longer its source code to update, if someone picks it up to do that there, it will have to do from scratch, until today I haven't seen anyone willing to go after that, but until that happens, even I think it's unlikely that various mods, involving SMP, even the bodies that use SMP, is much less fluid that in the new version of Skyrim, SE/AE, and 1 of the reasons is this too.
