Lil Nympho Girl Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 I wanted to tweak a skin for my character on Skyrim to be semi-transparent, and I wanted to know where I would do that... Is it like the texture files for the model or the meshÂ
Liuli Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 You need to be able to edit .DDS textures to make sure the character's skin texture has an alpha channel which you edit accordingly, and you need NifSkope to let the mesh know the texture includes transparency with it's source as alpha. I'm afraid I don't know how to do it specifically, try running a search for nifskope transparency or such.
Groovtama Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 you could add an alphaproperty in the nif with right flag and stuff you could make the skin semi-transpartent
