Animations not working i am in need to assistance

Im not very familiar with skyrim modding and i assume i have done something wrong here. If i could get some help it would be much appreciated

I have also run Fnis after deploying the mods just as a heads up

You need to provide a little more information so we can better help you...  Just saying "they don't work" isn't very descriptive.  Things don't work in what way?

 

Also, you should be posting a copy of your FNIS output.

 

It sounds like you're using Vortex?  Is your FNIS properly installed to work in Vortex?  I don't use Vortex myself so I can't help with that part, but if you're in doubt, Gopher on youtube has some videos about setting up Vortex for Skyrim.  GamerPoets probably does too.

It sounds like you're using Vortex?  Is your FNIS properly installed to work in Vortex?  I don't use Vortex myself so I can't help with that part, but if you're in doubt, Gopher on youtube has some videos about setting up Vortex for Skyrim.  GamerPoets probably does too.

Well i initiate the animations and then they just stand there doing nothing. and i have to wait for 5 or so mins to be able to move around again.

If I remember right that's because FNIS and SL count animations a little bit differently, and doesn't necessarily indicate a bug.

 

In other words, what SL might count as one animation might consist of 6 different stages - for example, during a single M-F sex scene, the actors might switch positions six times before the animation ends.  SL counts that as one animation, FNIS counts it as six, one for each position change. 

 

Probably not a big deal.

 

As far as the bigger underlying problem, it might be something Vortex related that I don't have any knowledge about.  For Mod Organizer 2 users, when we run FNIS, the FNIS output files end up in an Overwrite folder.  We then take that output out of Overwrite and place it into its own mod, and enable it so the game will load it.  I don't know if Vortex has a similar system to that or not.

 

My other thought was the same as what Grey Cloud had already suggested, did you enable the mods in SLAL in the MCM by checking the ones you want, but you said you already did that.

 

My only other idea right now is the recent Anniversary Edition update, and whether or not that affected you.  It might have broken some mods temporarily until fixes for SKSE and the mods can be uploaded.

OK now you've posted FNIS output from both the Legacy and SE versions of FNIS.  One says 32 bit, the other 64 bit.

 

Exactly what version of the game are you running?  Are you using the correct version of mods for the version of Skyrim that you have?  (which you aren't if you have two versions of Fores installed).

Im running the SE version of skyrim with the AE upgrade

 

This is another reason why im confused as it keeps telling me now that my skse64 is incompatible with the current version of the game im running. Although i have tried both ae and se versions of sks

for skyrim AE the skse version is: skse64_2_01_05. As a Mod Manager, I recommend Nexus Mod Manager, I have used it on Skyrim LE, SE and AE, it works perfectly

SKSE recently (within the last week or two) updated.  Make sure you have the most up to date version or you'll have problems.  Some of your mods may also need updates to work with the new SKSE.  That's all due to the recent Bethesda game update for AE.

 

Like I said before, you provided output from two completely different versions of FNIS, one for LE and one for SE.  Make sure you only have one version installed in your game.

 

Finally, I certainly don't want to criticize what lisander68 told you about Nexus Mod Manager.  There are a few people on LL here who still use it and love it, and if it works for them, then that's great.  Most people though (myself included) would recommend either Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex as being a little newer and giving you more control and/or making it easier to see how your mods are interacting.  While I really love MO2, if you're set up in Vortex already I wouldn't advise you to switch.  In the end it's up to you to find the mod manager that works best for you.
