AAF Manual - CTD when openning pip boy

Hei guys. So I had to reinstall entire fallout 4 and have a hard time getting UAP to work. I followed entire guide here:

but when I open pipboy my fucking game crashes. I use Vortex, I have installed buffout and all its requirements... Iam out of options (i think). I tried countless reinstall of said patches, but still CTD. I installed UAP, unchecked Leito patch. Then I installed Leito staged plus and loaded it after UAP.

So if you disable UAP, the pip boy is fine?

And then you enable UAP, and the game crashes when you use the pip boy?

 

Am I understanding you correctly?

 

Is the list you posted above your load order?  If so, and you are letting vortex sort it, you may need to check the guide for the proper load order of adult mods just in case.

UAP has conflicts with my patch, you have to decide what you need more. 

But this should not lead to game crashes

Figured it out. Buffout finaly gave me a message that NAC was not setup correctly and had an error that lead to a memory leak. Everything is fine now. I have no idea why buffout hadnt told me sooner. Sry for bothering yall

Buffout is simply not properly installed then.

Make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you installed it properly.

Buffout (a working one at that) is a requirement of UAP but it should be a must have anyway.

Reason being that the game can handle only so many swf elements (HUD/UI) before it chokes and crashes.

Buffout prevents this. Since AAF itself is a swf element.. then UAP adding to it, then an item sorter if you have it, yadda yadda yadda. It all stacks up and gets your game to crash.

If you remove UAP and your game doesn't crash, it just means that Buffout isn't properly installed. Simple as that.

Yes, means that something in the mod is fucked and either they (mod author) don't care to 'fix' it or they have no idea that it's 'broken'.

 

Buffout has been picking up a couple others about empty records that would end in save corruption and whatnot. It's becoming a nuisance.
