IdolM@ster Starlit Season Mod Thread

At long last an IdolMaster game has been released on Steam (a first for the franchise), making it possible to produce nude mods. Granted, the game is available only if you live in Japan (or perhaps if you use a VPN), but I thought I'd make a request for this game anyway just to see if it was possible. 

 

No online, no gacha. Tons of DLCs.

You can technically find the game cracked already to bypass the region lock. Or you can do what I did and get a friend to make a steam acct in that region and buy it for you and u pay them back.

dont get your hopes up too much though lol. apparently one of the replies says something like "this is the worst nude mod ive ever seen"

Yeah the front view of that mod is not good, need to be fixed to be usable.

And the same chest size for all the characters is also totally bad.

I suggest OP to edit his first message and fix the title, it is idolm@ster, not idolmaster.
Plus add the tags to improve the searches.

This game is developed with Unreal Engine 4, so mods are pretty easy to do.

Unfortunally the game is only in Japanese, but, a fan translation mod for a English menu can be done.

There is DLC called ''Pure White Bathing Suit'' and it's a pretty good start for the mandatory nude mod. ?

There is a function to full skip all the unnecessary intro logos and more.
I hope someone do the same thing also for the idolm@ster.

This game is pretty famous, I don't know why you thought there was no interest, this title is almost as famous as the Tales of series ?

Just not yet released on the west countries, but the IM@S franchise is a top tier game in Asia.

 

About your mod progress... marvelous!  Can't wait to see more from you.

i hope we can get at least one nude mod for everyone where the measurements are mostly similar to the ones in game. the effort is always appreciated but i dont like it when the only nude mod for a game is one that increases the size of everyone's boobs or butt. monster hunter world was very bad about this lol.

some people have been looking into physics mods that allow things to shake more. gamebanana has such mods for certain characters with long hair. personally i think a boob shake mod should be separate but its up to the person making the mod.

funnily enough this wasnt a jp mod. it was made by the people in the unreal 4 server as a test for repacking

apparently theres just a spread sheet that handles character sizes and they just changed a value on it and it makes idol's boobs bigger or smaller (the value is labeled "glamor" for those interested)

as far as i know there are no jp mods for this game yet. only western and chinese

Hi everyone, I tried to make a mod for Mika casual outfit but it don't work, it seems I'm missing something.

 

It's not my first time making a mod for Unreal games, I already made several for Trials of mana but I followed a tutorial for it.

The structure of this game seems to be a little bit different, trials of mana has a common skeleton for all characters and 1 model for each outfit and the body sizes are defined directly by the model, this game has a common body model, 1 model for each outfit and separated models for each character face and hair.

As you can see I removed the tank top under her sweater or jacket, I don't know how to call it, so after doing that I exported the file and made a pak with Unreal engine 4.24 after recreating the game's file structure but it doesn't have any effect in game.

 

Here is my edited model and the pak I made :

If someone more experienced could explain me what is missing in my files and how to properly import the model in blender and export it, and also what to do in Unreal engine, the correct file structure and if I have to create new skeleton and materials like for trials of mana mods?

pak file and sig file

Starlit season is poor bouncing boobs compared to past games(Starlight stage,Xbox360 idol m@ster etc...)

Yes I noticed this too, it could be that, event the original game packages have a pak and a sig for each one

but what is this sig file and how to make it?

 

Edit: I found out that .sig is for signature, now the question is how to make it?

UrealPakTool can do it but I don't understand how to use it properly
