romualda5 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 yes thanx a lot - but - our question > how can we change the color of the feathers ? Paint.net, Photoshop etc.
Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 yes thanx a lot - but - our question > how can we change the color of the feathers ? its a retexture. when you have found the texture file in the mod (its ".dds"-format) use any program you like to open the file, paint all .. dunno .. green, save the file, done. theres a freeware solution for that: use dds-converter to make a jpg-file from the dds-file, use gimp to recolor it, save it in gimp as jpg, and lastly use dds-converter to make a dds-file from your colored jpg. now make sure that the file name of your dds is the same as the original, copy it over, voila, done, your first retex. (pretty easy retex, but its a retex.) (like = free cookies )
