Ivy Valentine for Star Wars: Jedi Academy (18+)

This is a port of a NSFW edit of Ivy from Soul Calibur 4, originally meant for SFM. It comes with 2 versions of her signature swordwhip: One used like a typical sword, and one used like a whip.
I focused on having the main body retain its curviness as much as possible when I ported this. I also had to disable some parts of the model (mostly her right sleeve and parts of her top) in the skin files to keep her from crashing the game.
This has customization, NPCs, sounds, team skins, and bot support.

To use the custom NPCs, enable cheats then type "npc spawn (name)", replacing (name) with any of the npc names listed below. You can also play as the NPC by entering "playermodel (name)"
List of NPCs:

  • ivy        - spawns default Ivy, on the enemy's side
  • ivy2        - spawns Ivy wielding swordwhip, on the enemy's side
  • ivyblue        - spawns a blue team Ivy, on the good side
  • ivyred        - spawns a red team Ivy that targets everyone
  • ivynsfw        - spawns a nude Ivy, on the enemy's side
  • ivy_r        - spawns a harmless Ivy with 50,000 health

Type "saber ivy" to use Ivy's sword, or "saber ivy2" for its transformed whip version.

Details about the pk3 files:

  • zzzIvySC4.pk3            - Contains the model, sounds, custom weapons, and botfiles.
  • zzzIvySC4-NPCs.pk3        - Optional. Contains the custom NPCs that you can spawn with cheats.
  • zzzIvySC4ReplaceAlora.pk3    - Optional. Replaces Alora with Ivy.
  • zzzIvySC4ReplaceChewie.pk3    - Optional. Replaces Chewie with Ivy.
  • zzzIvySC4ReplaceKyle.pk3    - Optional. Replaces Kyle with Ivy.
  • zzzIvySC4ReplaceRosh.pk3    - Optional. Replaces Rosh with Ivy.
  • zzzIvySC4ReplaceTavion.pk3    - Optional. Replaces Tavion with Ivy.

-HOW TO INSTALL-
Extract the zip file, then put the pk3 files you need into your base folder: "Star Wars Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy/Gamedata/base"
Make sure you also run this in OpenJK to prevent crashes. OpenJK is an overhaul that raises the limitations of Jedi Academy's engine, and makes it possible to support higher-poly models. https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK

game crash afetr installing mod...

Did you have OpenJK installed? You need OpenJK for the mod to work properly. If it's your first time using OpenJK after installing it, use the openjk exe launchers in "Star Wars Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy/GameData" to launch OpenJK, not the default Jedi Academy launchers. Try it with the latest build: https://builds.openjk.org/
The only instances I know the mod will crash is if you're using high-poly weapons while playing as the character or if you launch the mod in default Jedi Academy.

I installed OpenJDK and ran game it through openjdk.x86, the game just crashed with the mod installed, when I uninstalled this mod the game started again ...

I noticed that the game starts only in multiplayer if you run it through openjk.x86

You can run singleplayer with openjk_sp.x86.exe. Can you show me a screenshot of the crash error?
Edit: I just tried the mod on a fresh reinstall of Jedi Academy, installed OpenJK, then ran OpenJK singleplayer with the Ivy mod as the only mod installed.. It still runs fine for me. It will only crash on startup if you launch the game through the default Jedi Academy launcher. I think the problem has to do with how your OpenJK is installed. You could read more about it here or try the JKHub forums:

I just bought the game for this mod tbh. great mod though. But I can't seem to get it to work for openjk and/or single player. running it through steam and only multiplayer, worked. Openjk wouldn't start up. I fire it up, a pop up shows, then disappears right after.

Thanks! Can you show me a picture of the pop-up and what it says? Does it say anything about a ui_char_color? I can't just keep guessing.

Edit: Replace the zzzIvySC4.pk3 you have with this one. Let me know whether it works

zzzIvySC4.pk3

that work for me, but when i use "speed" game lags a lot(pc quite powerful)

Your system should be more than capable to run a game like Jedi Academy, which uses a modified old idTech3 engine..
There are some ways to reduce lag. Go to your "GameData/base" folder, open jaconfig.cfg, then change the lines:
"seta r_primitives 0" to "seta r_primitives 2"
"seta r_flares 1" to "seta r_flares 0"
"seta com_maxfps 85" to "seta com_maxfps 125"
"seta r_swapinterval 1" to seta "r_swapinterval 0"
Already tried some of these. Hopefully this helps you get rid of some stuttering. If you're looking to get a higher FPS than what you got, here's a guide list of cvars with the recommended values you can play around with. These can be tested in-game or set up in your .cfg file:

That mod can working from 4k texture?

Right now, 1024x1024 textures. I scaled them down for the sake of loading times. It's possible though to use 4k textures.

Yeah I also had that crash issue with Ivy and also Sophitia, and Taki. They work great in single player, but when I tried to start the multiplayer the game just crashed. But I downloaded that new file and now Ivy works in multiplayer! It's really nice to see some nsfw mods for this game so thanks for making them!

You're welcome! Glad to help and glad you enjoy them. I guess this means I can now update the current files with the fix. In case you were wondering what caused the crash, it's because there were too many color tint choices, giving the ui_char_color error, so I removed some. I'll be updating the files in a while.

are you sure what to change in the "base" folder and not in the "OpenJK" folder?

The jaconfig.cfg in "GameData/base" is for when you're using default Jedi Academy. If you're using OpenJK, use openjk_sp.cfg in "Documents/My Games/OpenJK/base"

You're welcome! If you're running the game in OpenJK, try those edits again with openjk_sp.cfg. You can also test each cvar in-game with the in-game console, which you can open with Shift + ~. You can read more about how to do that here:
