Careers messed up or just me?

Good evening! So like everyone else, I updated my Sims 4 (v1.63). Updated WW (v155G). I deleted my cache. I get an exception which I'll add, but it seems like my Sims won't go to work. When it's time, nothing happens. I click on the "Go to work" button and it does nothing. He's a level 8 Writer and she's a level 6 Culinary Chef. I had them quite their careers and pick up new ones to see if that would "un-stuck" or w/e the careers. I had him take up the Critic Gardener one and her the Politician. At 8AM the next day, he went to work like normal, however, she refused. Again, I clicked on the option to "Go to work". I am not really sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

 

Edit: I realized my MCCC was out of date as well, so I went and updated to 7.2.1

One thing I noticed one the careers that I re-chose, they are the Work-at-home or Go to work careers. For him, the Gardener career, it looks normal, like when you hover over the choices, it states what the choice is. When you hover over the choices for the Politician, just white boxes come up. Not sure if that is significant or not.

 

Update: I removed all mods and confirmed it wasn't the game itself. They went to work normally. I added in just WW, and again, they went to work normally and I got no error messages. So now trying to find the problem which I'm going to bet that it's MCCC. I'll keep you all updated, even though it seems like this is just my issue as I haven't seen anyone else post this problem.

MCCC has been updated for v1.63 game patch, oops I see you updated.

It's likely the updated mods will still have some bugs and will be updated again soon.

MCCC does have some career settings and also some career cheats.

 

Make sure you don't have any other Career Mods as they are probably broken.

Doing all the mods check. I have a folder with 476 mods and 1 or more is the cause. MCCC and WW seem to be all good. I still get a lastexception, but I've been getting that even before the update and it hasn't seemed to mess anything up, except to be annoying. Once I find out which file it is, I'll let you guys know.

Paulson's NPCC, UICheats, LittleMsSams, Scarlets Mods are all suspect, (along with other script mods I'd also be checking first).

Ok so after messing around forever, I found the culprit of the "not going to work" issue AND the lastexception issue that I said has been ongoing for awhile but I've just ignored it and played anyway. The "not going to work" mod is a career mod like Scorpio mentioned, it was Telford - Adult jobs for Teens BASE GAME.package I linked it in case anyone wanted to verify. My 2 Sims are a YA and Adult, so maybe cause one of the Sims in the neighborhood? IDK. The last exception is caused by Wicked Work. I've never really gotten that to work the way it's described anyway and upon testing it, when i tried servicing a client, I got a Nisa error and it wouldn't perform lol. I guess a few more updates are needed, however, I did fix the "not going to work" issue and that's what this is all about! So woohoo and thanks for the help Scorpio!

Wicked Work has been broke and obsolete for ages now.

 

And I suspect any other mods that add new custom careers will need updating too, along with the rest of the script mods.

I have been using AEP Pornography career and clicking 'Go to Work' just does nothing. You get a call from the boss but can't do anything. I'm not sure what file isn't updated or if AEP needs an update?

Everything needs updating, or just remove them until they are fixed.

AEP and RedApple are updated for patreon users....The public version will be a few days yet according to her discord channel......Best to remove her mods till they get updated.
