Thalmor Captive (Idea/Request)

So, I just had an idea that I think would be cool to see in Skyrim. Also this would fit smoothly into the Skyrim-setting. :D Here goes:

If and when you activate a Shrine to Talos in the game, free a prisoner from a Thalmor escort or start supporting the Stormcloaks , the Thalmor take notice of your activities and hunt you down. (This could be based on the "Hired Thug" scripts or something). If you manage to defeat them, they will send another, higher level Thalmor party to capture you. If you are defeated, you get enslaved, and brought back to a Thalmor stronghold where you are imprisoned until you manage to escape (or maybe freed by the Stormcloaks).

Also it would be neat if this was made compatible with Sanguines Debauchery and/or the Prison Overhaul mods. :D

Hope to see some agreement on this one :P

Sorry for posting this in the Downloads-section  :-/

Yes, I know that. And thats why I think it should be expanded like this

The only time I let one enslave me he ran off and left me and I couldn't find him and pressing "end" to go to him just left me on a rock in the middle of nowhere so that could definitely use some improvement.

The thalmor do have their little prison/dungeon at their embassy so it does open possibilities without requiring a whole building be added somewhere.

It takes more work to make it a questmod, but I agree. Also, there is at least one quest which could be expanded upon with this mod. (The one where you have to rescue Thorald Greymane from the Thalmor prison.) But most of the quests involving the stormcloaks could potentially have something to do with a mod like this.

Like Ulfric sending you to investigate Thalmor activites or something like that. And of course the main quest where you attend the party at the embassy

I hope Bethesda will release a new DLC sometime that has to do with the Aldmeri Dominion :)

if it involves the Thamlor will Elenwen be involved because it would be fun doing that as a Imperial Legate.

for the Civil War bit the Leader could send you to investigate Thalmor Presence(different wording for Tullius and Ulfric) at a location like if you joined the Legion Tullius could send you on a black ops mission to take out certain key places of Thalmor patrols/ Bases and you'd get ambushed and knocked out on the last(or whatever one you choose) target

This. I'd like it to be mixed into the lore a bit as well. Maybe Tullius/Ulfric could give you recurring side quests to either assassinate a key Thalmor agent or infiltrate and steal something from a stronghold. They'll all end up conveniently "bad" for the player or at least some of them will. You'll walk straight into their trap, as said before. But I think we're already asking for too much. :P

I like your ideas, but I think it should be kept simple. Alternatively, those quests could be made to be compatible with this mod, but otherwise stand-alone. So that you could walk into that Thalmor trap, but still have the chance to get out alive. However, if you are defeated, you get brought back to their stronghold. I suppose the easiest way then would be to have everyone in the Thalmor faction do this if you are defeated by them, whether its on an infiltration mission, or just a random encounter somewhere else.
