How to make npc shorter but not smaller? Custom skeleton?

I don’t want my follower to be scaled down. Instead I just want a shorter npc, but with mostly the same dimensions for head, hands, etc...

 

how can i accomplish this?

open  console 

 

click on NPC

 

type : setscale 1    , where 1 is base height  usually, then  if u want shorter you type  0.97  or smh  like  1.05 for  higher  for example  and press enter

 

and  for weight  : setnpcweight xx , where XX  is the number  you want between 0 - 100 .

Or for a permanent change open the relevant esp in TESVEdit and change the height there.
