bailey_kate Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Please tell me, is there a mode that slows down time?
Oops19 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I don't think so. Never-ending parties would be very nice.
2cool4u_1 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I think MC Command Center can slow down (or speed up) time, but I've never used it, and don't know the drawbacks.
Alex_Joy Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Yes, MC Command Center can change how fast time passes in-game. By default, it's set to 25. I find that 40 (slower, but not too slow) works well for me.
thaclone Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 but if you slow down time, even with MCCC, have in mind, that it does not actually slow down time well, it does, somehow, but it does not, as well yes, the ingame time passes slowly, but at the same time, all interactions take longer. eg cooking or whatever. If cooking takes for example 20 in-game minutes, it will always take that amount of time. MCCC can only change the value, how long an in-game minute takes, compared to a real-time minute. let's say: on standard, 1 in-game hour, takes 20 real time minutes. slowing down the time by 50% via MCCC, makes 1 in-game hour take 40 real time minutes. but an interaction will still take 1 in-game hour, even after "slowing" down time. the interaction will never change the amount of (in-game) time to be done - just remember that I hope I did not confuse you guys even more BUT depending on what you wanna do, for some interactions there are mods, that can slow them down or speed them up.
Alex_Joy Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 You are correct about interactions taking longer. Walking, however, is still at the same real-world speed, so Sims spend fewer in-game minutes walking around to their next work task, chore, etc.
