Sesheenku Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Well I'm going to buy FO3 soon and I've been building my modlist slowly, I noticed there's not really any animation mods on Nexus and I've always hated Beths default animations. Could I use Skyrim animation mods for this purpose? Is it as simple as renaming them to the appropriate file name and placing them in the right folder or will I need to do something more, or is it actually not possible?
myuhinny Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 No. Skyrim files cannot be used in fallout 3. Files are made for a specific game and can't work with other games. Animations are also done differently in skyrim the other games.
Sesheenku Posted December 11, 2019 Author Posted December 11, 2019 That's a shame, I've just heard conflicting things on it but that's the internet.

You can make a port, which requires you know how animations work in Fallout, and know how to work on a 3d software. Tweaking the result to achieve a decent result can require several hours of work per animation, if it's not a very long animation often it's better redoing everything from scratch.
