Crash on Initiating Sex

I just finished installing LAPF for the first time, and am attempting to test the framework with LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP from  Supplemental Pack 1, but the game crashes to desktop every time I try to initiate sex. Masturbation with MB2 works. I've tried starting a new game to no avail.

The last line is probably causing the crash, but I don't know why or even if that's actually the case.

 

Additionally, when I removed the numbered INIs as recommended in the installation instructions of the main thread, a an error message appeared when starting the game, and several error message boxes appeared before the ultimate crash of the sex scene.

 

On a sidenote, I hate WYSIWYG editors. I had to retype more than half of this post because I made a typo in a closing spoiler tag.

You do not remove or delete files in data\ini\      !!!!!!

 

Have you set archive invalidate via Bsa Redirection  ??

Game started with OBSE?  ( I'm sure you have )

But the error message "Script 'xLoversPkrGetHeadOrHair', line 3: Set expression returned an error: Expression Error: SYNTAX"

The script only calls another script that is also in the Lovers with PK esp. If the game can not read a "expression"  (OBSE command) maybe your OBSE does not work right. Game in C : / program files x86 can cause the problem.

 

Lovers not installed with Nexus Modmanger !!! It can not install Lovers mods!!!

Load order:

LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP.esp  should be above Lovers with PK.esp  But that will not cause a crash.

1 thru 4 of the install directions are BEFORE you install the LAPF.  It clearly states to do this ONLY if you have a previous version of Lovers with PK.  What you did is pull out all the ini files that the LAPF needs to function.  Of course it is crashing.  Reinstall the LAPF and say yes to all overwrites.

Game's installed to C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion. In fact, Oblivion is the whole reason I moved my Steam install.

The wording in the post makes it seem like that's only for step 4b, and not 4a as well. That said, it sounded like a suspicious option, so I didn't do it at first. I only removed them later in hopes of fixing the crashing. It still crashes with them in place.

Uncheck all Lovers Mods before you build a BashedPatch!!!! Never Lovers Mods in the BashedPatch.

 

And sort your Mods ! ! !

 

Most Morroblivion esp before the DLCs ( or all esp , I have only checked 5 in the BOSS masterlist )

first your armor clother replacer and Robertsmalev5 esp

The Morroblivion  then DLCs

 

Lovers Mods

LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP.esp

Lovers with PK.esp  [Version 96v5]
SetBody.esp

 

The race Mods 

Lattamer.esp

EVE_KhajiitFix.esp

My load order should make that clear with the "++" mods.

I build the Bashed Patch after any major changes and them manually fix elements of it via TESEdit.

The list as seen in my first post had been sorted by LOOT and then manually changed. I also tried sorting by BOSS and then manually sorting, turning off the Bashed Patch to prevent issues from that not being rebuilt, and then tested. Same crash.

Haven't. Lovers is lower in my install order than all other mods containing skeleton nifs. Made sure to check the conflicts list, too; Lovers wins all conflicts.

But

Never LOOT for Oblivion!  And the load order you have now is wrong !

 

And you said " I build the Bashed Patch after any major changes ...  " 

That can not be !  If you change the load order ( add or remove Mods ) you have to rebuild the Bashed Patch ,  WITHOUT all Lovers Mods !

 

And check the conflicts list is nice  but have you checked the game folders ?

Only one other think you can try.  Set Oblivion ( whole steam folder ) to your anti virus program   ignore list/exceptions list.

 

EDIT:  in you OBSE folder  .... where is Pluggy?
