This vanity mod covers the entire game, and while it does change two mechanics (carry weight capacity and exp gains) those parts are meant to be conjoined to a different mod, or a gameplay mod of your choosing by design. This is not meant to be an end all be all mod for the game itself, only the presentation thereof.

The changes are from top to bottom, covering lighting, textures, models and sound and music. All the things. As with virtually every other mod made, It did not happen in a vacuum, a metric asston of people are responsible for making this piece of software designed to kick the fuck out of your graphics card.

Installation:

http://enbdev.com/mod_dragonsdogma_v0367.htm

Download this and place the .exe and .dll only in

*\Steam\steamapps\common\DDDA

Download Dogmatic and place it in the same folder. When it asks to overwrite NativePC, say yes.

Then open the enb ini and configure it.  This is not an optional step. The preview for this is being played on a Ryzen flagship and an RTX Titan, and you don't have those.

Then open the enbseries and do the same.

The hardest hits to framerate are Ambient Occlusion, Skylighting and Prepass/DoF, so make changes accordingly once you've launched the game via shift+enter. This enb, derived from my Skyrim ENBeast is designed to melt your card. You think I'm kidding and I'm not.

If the enb fails to load, activate the d3d9.bak by renaming d3d9.dll to d3d9orig.dll and d3d9.bak to d3d9.dll.

This mod is designed to be 100% compatible with Lefein's World Mod 2.0, which is shown in the video.

I'm getting screen flickering or screen tearing. Any idea if there is a fix for that. I've tried the game without the mod and it ran fine, but with it my screen is flashing white and I don't know what to do. Edit: I think it's to do with the enb but I'm not sure what setting is causing the white flashing (White Flashing every time I move the camera, game seems to be fine in cut scenes though which is weird.) Edit2: Seemed to fix it by changing JobThread to 1 (Jobthread=1 in AppData\Local\CAPCOM\DRAGONS DOGMA DARK ARISEN). It was set to 7, saw in a post that the game HATES multi-threads or something. There is still some flashing but after the tutorial the game seemed to not show it anymore. Might have just been the tutorial but eh, it might show up again.

The mod spanks your graphics card.

Literally.

Repeatedly.

The amount of threads you can run depends entirely on your processor, and the amount of bandwidth your processor can put out. Remember this is a straight port and the seven jobs directly corresponds to the amount of co-processors the ps3 had. You should set the job amount to the amount of actual (not "logical") processor cores you have.

Screen tearing would be from your in-game or graphics setting. HDR should be set to high and AA should be off for most users, frames set to 60 or higher.

It shouldn't matter. This main_arc already contains the World 2.0 Exp tables and a hexedit for unlimited weight carriage, so you won't have to use fluffyquack's tools to merge them.

All you need is the monster and area table data from WM 2.0.

If Lefein ever updates WM 2, this will get updated as well.

Bear in mind if this is the first time playing the game is a thing for you, you're going to get the hell kicked out of you unless you have a group of extremely strong pawns.

That is a vsync versus movie/cutscene issue usually caused by installing the game on an external drive that doesn't have enough bandwidth to run movies or cutscenes at the locked framerate and/or running without vsync on and under 30 fps.

I wasn't joking about the need for strong hardware.

Your choices are install the game on a drive which has a direct bandwidth connection to the mobo higher than SATA2, run the game at a severely reduced res, or delete the enb and keep the naughty bits.
