A refit and expansion of the classic UNP Bikini

For the UUNP HDT Body

 

 

I've always been fond of the UNP Bikini. As someone who likes to mix and match outfit parts, I appreciated its clean lines and simple, classic design. But after migrating to UUNP, I found its implementation on that body system to be a bit lacking.

 

So I made my own version. Here it is.

 

 

Meshes

 

 

The meshes have been re-fitted to the UUNP body. Care was taken to minimize any instances of clipping while ensuring as close of a fit as possible. Bodymorphs are supported, although more extreme ones may introduce unforeseen clipping. The weighting is taken from the UUNP HDT body physics. 

 

The Tops and Bottoms are separated, with the Bottoms using slot 52 for SoS compatibility.

 

 

Options

 

 

The Full Package download contains additional variants of the Tops and Bottoms. First, all Tops have duplicate versions using slot 48, for use with such things as cyborg bodies.

 

 

Second, [Bulge] versions of many Bottoms were added to simulate transgender/futa support. As this was accomplished by simply ballooning out the mesh in the appropriate spot and nothing is physically present underneath it, this option is only available on sets that fully cover the area.

 

An alternate Basic Set download containing only the slot 32 Tops and cisgender fem Bottoms is available for users who prefer it. 

 

 

Textures

 

Classic Textures

 

Along with the original White set, several existing textures for the UNP Bikini have been incorporated into this package. These include:

 

GreatBizarro's Chainmail

 

Rekicker's Chainmail

 

cramlow's Black Lace

 

crispiniscool's HD Sets

 

Rockslinger's Sets

 

All five of lukie80's Skimpy Sets

 

And hagrid's Leather Set, with additional symmetrical variants

 

 

New Textures

 

Part of the reason I started working on this project was that I had a need for an outfit using the Dwarven rug/banner patterns. As I was figuring out how to get those to work, I started playing around with making further new sets using various Vanilla textures.

 

I may have gone a bit overboard.

 

 

All together, this currently contains 95 bikini sets.

 

 

Installation

 

Due to that proliferation of textures the files exceeded LL's upload limits, so the links pass through to MEGA. The direct links and the links in the text files are the same; I just tossed the text versions on here because I have no idea how to get LL to put a title on direct-linked files. Download either the Full Package or the Basic Set there and install normally. You only need one or the other depending on if you want the extra variant meshes, not both.

 

After that, run the outfits in BodySlide. Do not skip this step, as no pre-built meshes are provided. The outfits can be found in BodySlide under the "Bikini Revival" group. 

 

Bodyslide will only display the White variant for each mesh. This is normal, as the other sets are all generated in-game using the Creation Kit's TextureSet feature. 

 

 

How To Get

 

In-game crafting is not currently implemented. It may get added in a future update, depending on how annoying it is to build it the the CK. 

 

The current recommendation is to use Add Item Menu. You should be using it already, anyway. 

 

 

Known Issues

 

• Users of the full version of SoS will have to mark the slot 32 Tops as 'revealing' in SOS's MCM to be able to use the Bottoms with them, due to how SoS's concealment system works. Another option is to simply use the slot 48 Tops instead.
• The meshes are a bit twisted at the tips of the nipples. The causes some slight distortion to the textures there.
• The waistband at the point of the hips is a problem area for clipping. I've tried to minimize it as best as I could by leaving it slightly loose and adjusting the weighting, but it will likely occur in some poses. 
• Some poses may also cause clipping around the buttcrack area.
• If significant clipping occurs around the butt or, when using the slot 48 Tops, around the breasts, you are not using a body with the correct UUNP HDT weights. 
• Some of the normal maps on the new textures are a bit glossier than I'd like them to be. I haven't entirely figured out how those work, yet. 
• Armor Values were intended to be added to the Chainmail sets and some others, but I can't seem to get them to work. I'll put it in an update if I manage to figure out what's going wrong.

Future Plans: I've got a workflow set up where I can pretty much just toss textures together for this, but I am a bit concerned that I already have entirely too much here. I'll probably at least try to get some more hold and faction banners in at some point, but I've got some other projects to work on before that.

Stupid questions but, does this have any requirements? How do I install this? I tried adding it via NMM but it couldn't install it.

There's an extra folder level in the archive that's probably confusing NMM.  I'm guessing you'd have to install it manually by dropping the pictured items into your Skyrim Data folder.

I'm not getting any of that when I download. All I get is a .rar file.

A .rar is a type of archive file.  You can open it in 7-Zip or WinRAR.  NMM should be able to handle .rar files, so the archive type shouldn't be the problem.

*facepalm* thank you. That was the issue. Windows decided to open it with notepad. Not sure why but, now it's successfully installed.

Ah, crap. Forgot that some people have been having trouble with .rar files and NMM. I'll try to get a repacked .zip file up when I get home in the morning.

 

 

Edit: Okay, finally got around to installing 7zip on this computer and repacked the files using that. Got a significantly better filesize out of it, too- more than 100MB less than the .zip attempt- so I'll probably continue using it in the future. Also eliminated the redundant top-level folder for people who were having issues with that. No content changes, however, so if you've successfully installed the .rar upload there's no need to re-download.

Hi thanks for the mod, can u make a combined version? both bra & panties as single asset. I tried before & at best it can load the panties but the texture always set to a default one. Even tho I already change with nifskope.
