A Borderlands 2 Texture Mod

 

 

The world of Borderlands 2 is one full of adult humour and no small amount of depravity.

 

Despite this, the world's visuals maintain a distinctly PG presentation (if you ignore the copious amounts of blood).

 

This mod aims to change that.

What does it do?

 

 

Essentially this mod replaces a number of textures around Pandora with content of a more adult oriented nature.

 

Vending machines, signs, posters, graffiti and more have been updated with a more risque - aww hell, who are we kidding - a more pornographic bent.

 

Please note: This is NOT your standard, lets find some porn and paste it into the game texture hack. Every image has been edited to fit within the visual stylings of the game. Posters are weathered and dirty; original art has been reworked to match new inclusions; Appropriate shading has been applied; textures have been 'comic-ed' up; and so on.

 

I've also tried to remain largely true to the lore of the game. The intent is that your game remains the Borderlands you have grown to love but with a more sexualised bent.

 

This is still a work in progress with many more textures to come. Please let me know (in this thread) if you have any areas or items you have a specific interest in getting this treatment. If there a number of people are all requesting the same thing then I will give that priority.

 

 

Work complete to date:

 

• Most of Sanctuary's poster art.
  
• Crimson Raiders Banners.
  
• One panel of computer screens.
  
• One piece of graffiti near Scooters.
  
• Scooter's sign.
  
• Med Stations.
  

 

Next on the list is the gun vending machines and the interior of Moxxi's bar.

I've added quite a few new textures since I made the first post and will likely be uploading the most recent update in the next few hours.

 

When I do so, I shall also upload specific screenshots of the original textures and the additions.

 

Next update will be saucing up Moxii a bit too.

 

Not a nude yet since I've not had the time but there's been some changes to her hat and her tat.

Sweeeeet work you have done so far.  The only other "adult" texture mods I have come across out there seemed to be rushed and just bare minimum to classify as adult-themed.  This is hands down the best work I have seen.  I anxiously await further additions!  Thank you for posting and for your work on this

Sadly, with only 3 posts to his user name and no activity since, I think he just dropped it and left. Shame because I agree, it was very well done. Only reason I stopped using it was because TexMod seem to have been causing instability in my game. I haven't crashed once since I stopped using it. I was also using the Sexy Maya skin as well, which I must say I miss.

Same here. Was only using one of the sexy maya skins and the 3rd person mod and the game started freezing after like 5 mins. I mean freezing lol, real freezing in 2013 wtf*. So after diving a few times in lake nostalgia i gave up and went back to vanilla.

 

But anyways, i'd like to have this mod as well, probably i'd give the game another go.

Well I followed this guys tutorial and it worked fine with me:

 

I think it is the activation order that is critical here.

It has to be Steam -> TexMod -> Borderlands2, not TexMod -> Steam -> Borderlands

Found my problem. There was a program called OC Guru 2 that came with my video drivers that was for some reason causing the crash. Just had to close it and problem solved.

OK just as a disclaimer, this may be an older version of the mod advertised on page 1. It works, I use it and you'll have all the sexy vending machines, posters and banners at least. DLCs are not affected by this pack..at least this version anyway. Not sure if there is a newer "latest and greatest" version out there. Modding for the game is pretty much dried up.


You will need TexMod to use this. Note tutorial link on page 1. Easy tool to use, don't get freaked by it.

I would go back and double check set up or delete and re-download, maybe the file corrupted during saving.  I just downloaded and ran it fine however.
