"What mod is this?" IV

Recommended Posts

All I see blade pulling off unnecessary shit. Big screen effects, slow, injuries, freeze, one hit kill

and list go on and on. Not type weapon want use in fight. Pretty but ridiculously overpower.

I'm playing on legendary so say goodbye to 1 hit kills.

The companion mod "Selene Kate" uses a similar effect to attack. Quite stunning to watch but when you notice after some time that she does it over and over again with no diversity then it gets boring, even annoying. If you like hulking around then its good for you but to me it looks like rushing through things (literally) and makes you feel you miss something.

I know this isnt really a mod, but it involves a mod, so half of this question belongs here! *thumbs up*

So as for the question. Anyone know exactly what file in CK determines what Delphine wears before she changes clothes? I finally completed my mod bundle and Delphine is suppose to be wearing one of the armor mods but she's still wearing her innkeeper clothes when i entered the inn of Riverwood. Now i assume the reason why she's not wearing my armor is because i havent done that quest yet which makes her change clothes. But i have no idea what file determines what she wears before you start that quest.

If anyone has any information, i'd appreciate it.

Bumps.

The file that determines that would be the main Skyrim.esm file. her starting/default outfit is the one she is defined with in her "Actor" definition.

Well, about the esm file, i already found her in there, but i dont understand what you mean by "actor" definition. What i usually do is load up CK, search for the NPC in the Actor category up top, click the 'inventory' tab, then i go to the 'outfits' dropdown menu and look for the outfit i added. Then i set the outfit i wanted Delphine to wear. I even changed her 'sleep' outfit too. But in the game, she was wearing the innkeeper outfit. There's got to be another tab that determines what she wears before you start that quest. Because i can only see the 2 outfits for the normal 'Delphine' actor, but there's still that elusive 3rd outfit she has before she changes into her usual Blade uniform.

If you're referring to something else with "Actor Definition", could you explain in detail where to find it? I'm not sure if i understand correctly.

Look at the actor in the CK again but this time look at the box labeled "scripts". You'll find that one of the two scripts listed sets her outfit. Change the "Properties" of that script to point to the new outfit you want her to use and you should be good to go.

I hope i got the right one. I found 2 scripts. "MQDelphineScript" and "RentRoomScript". I believe i saw these before and attempted to edit them, but then i stopped thinking i might break the game. Anyway, the "RentRoomScript" I'm like 95% sure that's not the script i want. But the "MQDelphineScript" has 2 sub-scripts: "MQ106" and "NormalOutfit". I changed the "NormalOutfit" to point towards the outfit i want. But i dont know what "MQ106" is, so i left it alone. But that's the reason for this message, should i change that too? Actually, better yet, can anyone explain to me what "MQ106" is? I've seen alot of those items floating around.

MQ106 is the name of the Quest. Just in case anyone is interested the way to change her default outfit is to right-click on the script and select properties. One of the properties will be the farm clothes she wears in the bar and changing that to some other outfit in the properties will change the outfit Delphine wears in the Inn.
