Granite Falls Reimagined - Cartoon Map Overhaul

Bring a storybook look to Granite Falls with this static cartoon replacement for its world-map backdrop. Bold outlines, forest greens, blue water, a waterfall, and illustrated mountain scenery give the vacation world a playful new look.

This changes the map screen only. It does not replace playable lots, alter gameplay, or require script mods. The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat Game Pack is required. Version 1.0.0 was released free on September 25, 2026.

Installation

1. Close The Sims 4 and extract the ZIP.
2. Place Granite_Falls_Modnest_Cartoon.package in your The Sims 4 Mods folder.
3. Remove any other Granite Falls map replacement; use only one at a time.
4. Enable Custom Content and Mods in Game Options, then restart the game.

If an older map remains after updating or removing this mod, delete localthumbcache.package from your The Sims 4 folder while the game is closed, then relaunch it.

To uninstall, remove Granite_Falls_Modnest_Cartoon.package and clear the cache if needed.
