AutoCam automatically moves the camera for a more cinematic viewing of your sims.
 

Why I built AutoCam

Sometimes you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the scene playing out in front of you. However, having to adjust the camera manually to capture everything from different angles takes away from that experience.

With AutoCam, you can just enable it and enjoy the show.

Installing AutoCam

Copy the AutoCam folder from the zip and put it in your the Sims 4 Mods folder.

Recommended Sims 4 Settings

Use Sims 3 Camera

To get the most out of AutoCam, I recommend that you switch the camera to Sims 3 style camera. This gives AutoCam the most control over the camera angles.

Camera.ini Tweaks

To allow AutoCam to go even lower, for better framing, it's recommended that you also tweak your Camera.ini file.

You can find it under: The Sims 4/Game/Bin/res/Camera.ini

In the Camera.ini file, scroll down until you see [advanced], then find TargetHeight and MinPositionHeight. Change both of them from 1.05 to 0.5.

Then in the Sims 4, click on any sim > AutoCam > Settings > Camera.ini and change TargetHeight to 0.5.

How To Use

Click on any sim and select the AutoCam option.

You can then pick between the modes:

Focus on sim

Focuses the camera on a single sim. If they are currently in a WickedWhims sex animation, they the camera will move between each of the sim that is part of the animation.

Auto

Switches focus between multiple sims. This can be configured to only include household sims, etc.

Auto WickedWhims

LIke auto, but specifically for WickedWhims, where the camera only switches between sims who are currently having sex.
