The common question is : Can it run doom? Now with this, XCL can!

Doom has always been my number 1 game of all time and i still play it to this day. The community maps are just so good.

Alice Doom Arcade is now open at the mall for you to have fun.

This mod is based on a WebAssembly build of Chocolate Doom. This means pure vanilla doom.

I forked it because it's VERY old and made it more lightweight and added interaction with xcl possible.

There's a chance stepsis tag along with you when going to the arcade which is the where the interaction between doom and xcl shines ^^

WARNING : YOU MUST RUN XCL WITH A WEBSERVER (Using Run in the mod loader for example)

Just launching the html file will not work because of modern browser security features.

## Installation

For copyright reasons i cannot bundle the original doom WAD.

For this reason you can load only ONE of the Data file here to either play Freedoom episode 1 or the episode 2.

WARNING : ONLY ONE DATA MOD CAN BE ENABLED. DO NOT ENABLE MORE THAN 1!!!!!

The other commercial versions (Doom, Doom II, Plutonia, TNT) pack have a placeholder file for the WAD.

IF you want to use them by providing your own wad then do the following.

1. Download the data pack zip

2. Extract it. For once you are allowed to unzip a mod, what a time to be alive.

3. Replace the empty wad file by your own inside the jsdoom folder. DO NOT CHANGE THE FILENAME OR CASE!!!

4. Select jsdoom, metas and the twee file and create a new zip of those 3. DO NOT ZIP THE TOP FOLDER!!!!

5. Install that zip with the modloader

Right now it's not possible to load a custom wad alongside original doom wad. Don't try running Okuplok or Sunder xD

## Controls

Control scheme can be selected between QWERTY and AZERTY in the option.

You have mouse control by default.

- WASD : Classic controls with strafing on direction by default.

- Shift : sprint

- E/RMB : Interact

- Mouse : look around

- LMB : SHOOT

## Saves

You can save inside doom on all slots but right now only slot 0 will persist.

WARNING : To persist the save you have to exit doom properly! Then save your xcl game normally.
