Welp, I'm back.
After posting the Vault Posters, I sort of got a renewed zeal for re-doing the magazines.
For me, being near lore or lore-appropriate is the most important element for anything I add into the game.
For these, I finally found art that I thought was perfect so I kind of just dove in and wasted 2 weekends on this. I used Lomien's Editable Comics and Perk Posters as a base but even that required a lot of cleaning up.
This will replace Live & Love and the Wasteland Survival Guide.
While I've seen them in-game and checked them in the CK I have not managed to see them in the Loadscreen because of the ridiculously high amount of things that can show up on the Loadscreen. I reloaded 50+ times in 2 sittings and still couldn't get a single magazine to show up. Because of this, I don't know how the High Res Magazines look in-game but they should be fine....
I'm not sure if this will have additions in the future. I have to find an art style I like that also FITS the magazines I want to replace.
I love the rough, hand drawn magazines in the game like Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor and Scav Magazine but I haven't found art that fits the style that I actually like that also have enough pieces to use for multiple magazine covers.
ALSO, You don't need the PNGs file, that's just for people who want to see all the magazine covers in their full glory or something. If you use the covers elsewhere be sure to credit the respective artists properly, even though it's highly edited, the base art is still theirs.
