She is the princess and ruler of Sarasaland, which is made up of four kingdoms: Chai (where Daisy's castle is located), Birabuto, Easton, and Muda.
Her first appearance was in Super Mario Land, where she was kidnapped by the monster Tatanga and later saved by Mario.
