I’d like to explain in more detail the sound design process behind my animations. Sound is a crucial element in creating an immersive experience, and I invest a lot of time to ensure that the audio in each scene complements the visuals perfectly.

 

The process begins with selecting high-quality sound samples from different sources. Then, I move on to the sequencing phase, where I break down these recordings into multiple distinct segments.

This gives me a lot of flexibility in how I use the sounds. I can choose to follow the original audio, or rearrange these sequences to create new transitions and combinations that fit the animation perfectly. This process allows me to make each sound sequence unique, while keeping everything fluid and consistent with the rest of the animation.

 

For those of you who are passionate about sound design, I think you’ll really appreciate this aspect of my work. Each update not only improves the visuals but also enriches the sound experience, pulling you even deeper into immersion.

I wanted to give you a quick overview of how I manage the versions of my WickedWhims animations for The Sims 4, so everything is always clear for you.

Each update of my animations is identified by a version number in the format MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH (for example: 1.0.0).

 

 

Here’s how it works:

• MAJOR (X.0.0): This number changes for major updates, such as adding a new set of animations or making significant modifications that affect the entire content.

• MINOR (0.X.0): This number increases when I add new animations or additional features without altering what already exists. This indicates that new content has been added while maintaining compatibility with previous versions.

• PATCH (0.0.X): This number evolves for small updates, such as bug fixes or minor adjustments to existing animations.

 

 

Versioning Example:

• 1.0.0: First version of the animation pack.
• 1.1.0: Addition of new animations to the same pack.
• 1.1.1: Minor fixes and improvements to certain animations.

This system allows me to keep my creations organized and helps you easily track what has been updated or added.
