Living in a foreign country

Our children and twins can’t wait to go to the children's Easter party we organized for the children of our workers. This time they have to find an Easter egg with their name hidden in the pocket of one of the parents. Then they will get the candies bag. The one who finds it first will get an extra candies bag. Of course, there will be a special program, snacks, and beverages for them and their parents who will receive the envelope with the Easter bonus.

Although Father’s Day isn’t as popular as Mother’s Day in our country, we organized a house party for our dads yesterday. We also sympathized with my Prince and Ivy who lost their fathers a few years ago. It wasn’t anything special but we made it remembered by telling them how much we love them, serving them their special meals, and doing everything to please them. Our children drew their father, Mikey recited him a poem he wrote and Precious danced for him the dance I taught her. They were very cute and they made us all very touched. (Too bad my Prince had no special desire for sex when we were alone since we always do to him the things he likes, and we like too).

I don’t know how living in a foreign country feels and how sometimes it must be very difficult. Besides many problems like accommodation, language, and cultural differences, they also have to face extreme nationalists who hate everyone and everything that isn’t theirs; skin color, language, and habits. (I am not saying that every foreign worker had this experience, but unfortunately, few of ours did. Thanks to Antonio, the incident didn’t end in the newspapers). Two days ago, our three workers were attacked at the bus station waiting for their bus to go home after work. (They always go in small groups to easily get around and to help each other with language and similar). Anyhow, there was a bar near that bus station and three guys started to throw various objects at them (bottles, glasses, ashtrays), swear at them, and call them names. When their bus arrived, the guys returned to the pub and one of our workers called the man in charge of them and told him what happened. He, then, called my Prince who was furious when he heard about it. He immediately called Silvano and told him where to go. Then he called the guy who called the man in charge and told him to ask him if he was willing to join them to identify the bullies. He did and my luvs drove to his place and picked him up. When our worker identified bullies, my luvs and Silvano dragged them behind the bar and taught them a good lesson. Then they put them in the car and drove them to our Hotel. Silvano went to pick up other workers. When they all gathered, my Prince made them apologize to our workers and promise they wouldn’t touch them ever again. You should see them kneeling in front of our workers and asking for forgiveness. Then our security guards chased them away. Our poor foreign workers couldn’t believe what we did for them and they couldn’t stop thanking my Prince and Ivy who drove them home. Yes, it means a lot when you have someone who would defend you and protect you in a foreign country. That’s nothing new for my luvs who proved again that we care for our workers regardless of their nationality, skin color, and language. I am soooooo proud of them.

Do you remember my Prince’s auntie from the USA? Well, somehow, she came in contact with her sister who lives in our city and doesn’t speak to us and who said all the worst about my Prince to her. Although my Prince denied all accusations, she was very reserved toward him and told him not to call her until she came and checked who was telling the truth. My Prince was sad but not upset for he knows his other auntie has mental problems and that it is something one can expect from her. Anyway, we’ll have the twins’ grandparents for lunch on Saturday.

Just your Prince and Silvano went to talk to the bullies and not your Ivy?  That is surprising.

As for people acting that way, it is always easier to blame "someone" or "something else" for their own failings.   Add a major power working to "influence" those people and you end up getting a mess for decades.

A quote from my diary:

> He did and my luvs drove to his place and picked him up. When our worker identified bullies, my luvs and Silvano dragged them behind the bar and taught them a good lesson.

> My Ivy would never leave him, especially not in fighting.

Ah, I see.... when I read it, there was no mention of Ivy, so luvs, I thought was Silvano and Prince.

> Only five to ten years ago, it didn't matter where are you from, but now, since foreigners taking Croats' jobs, working for the money our people wouldn't take it considering it as underpayment, some Croats turned into foreigners haters.
