Side effect of THE ring seems very intresting... but dont understand this ring seems strong yes but something missing. My gut feeling that ring not only going to enchance the Arlan smell, need to be more thing that ring do. Far more as a deadric artifact...  wondering what exactly going to do. probably not turn Wrewolf Arlan ...

I thought about it for a small second.. But the Idea came way too late. I would've had to spawn someone and seeing how my game froze in the smithy for doing too much in the console.. Was probably better not to.. But there is always a next time ?

- The early stuff with the Butcher and necromancer counts still

Naah it won't turn him. He can't even turn into one for real. I mean he can transform into one but he can't be one.. (My head hurts.. xD Don't think too much into it.)
