Should we make a new Fourplay installation tutorial?

What the title says. Until Vinfamy comes back and to take a bit of weight off his back, should we as a community attempt to create a maintain a new tutorial on how to set up Four-Play? His tutorial isn't bad mind you, and I'm sure most people agree with me, but some of the info there is very outdated, and some of mods it tells you to install actually cause issues in your game (such as this one, which infamously causes CTDs when approaching Sanctuary, among other issues https://www.loverslab.com/topic/64627-wip-dogmeats-genital/).

I think we could do with an updated version of it, as there are conflicting instructions between the installation guide, and what it actually says on the mod pages themselves.

Just bought F04 for my wife spent a few hours setting it up with to use four play mods seu all that good stuff, every thing worked but the camera tried everthing.

Anyways pretty much done with four play mods till something gives.... Have fun guys n gals....

I've been trying for a few days to get the framework installed correctly and I keep getting either "framework not installed correctly, maybe the scripts is missing" or "framework not installed correctly animations won't work". The only thing the guide says to do is install it normally in NMM which i've done so i don't understand why this is the only thing that isn't installing properly versus my other mods.

I'm having the same issue.  Cam angle controls don't work, although it's not a huge concern for me.  If I wanted to play a porn game I'd just play Honey Select.

 

However, brand new here (hello) and regarding the topic, as someone who followed the tutorial yesterday, it would certainly be nice.  It's still doable as is though.

 

Also fantastic mods, thanks a bunch.  I like ultra realism in a game and some of these mods go a long way.

 

I really have only one issue and that is when using the control panel.  There doesn't seem to be feedback from it.  Selecting things like enable/disable seem to work but all it gives me is what the default is.  Not the current value.  Getting that feedback to know that the value switched from default to the selected value would be great.

To fix the camera not working you need to install [Dev/Test/Beta] LL FourPlay community F4SE plugin v14-20171224 at least installing that seemed to fix it for me.

Make sure you have the latest F4SE and install the plugin I posted in the previous post.

Make sure you made all the .ini edits.

If that doesn't do the trick post your load order
