I'm having an issue where the career requires lvl2 or lvl5 exhibitionism. mine is maxed but the career does not recognize it. I think you spelt it wrong. It's supposed to be 'Exhibitionism' and you spelt it Exhibitionsim.

 

Can you check if that's what's causing the issue?

You pretty much need to promote your sim until the position doesn't need the Exhibitionism skill   careers.promote erotica

This mod is dead folks. No real point in asking for updates or fixes anymore.

Wouldn't just delete the file "Insolent_Career_Erotica_Objectives.package" do the work for the early requirement to promote?

I change value around a bit and basically this make this career a bit OP in terms of salary but that's how much I want to make if I do porn actually.

I would not say I finished it. I still can't figured out how to make them rank up pass the first stage of each branch.

But the rest description is filled out and salaray increased.

It's this very same mod and there's no modder. Just me dabbling in Sims4Studio, changing value, typing description.

Hi, I have one of my sims in this career, and it says she needs a level 3 exhibition skill to be promoted, but I have leveled her up to 5 in exhibition and it is not registering with the career. Is there any kind of cheat to force a promote?

Yeah, this mod causes sims not to go to work. It shows them at work in the normal fashion, but they are not actually gone..they stay home. And it throws errors, causing LE.

This is pretty much a complete and fully functional version of this mod.

BUT BE AWARE! The C&D update broke it and the creator is currently taking time off, so as a community people have stepped up and fixed it for them.

DO NOT use the v0.1 or v0.131 package files included, only the script mod. There is an updated 0.2 package file posted in the comments which fixes the issues.

The problem with this mod is that it simply does not support the newest version of WW, amongst others. I see no real point in fixing this when Jen's mod is the exact same as this one and you've already fixed that for us.

True the mods are similiar, but there are some differences between them in terms of details in the career paths. Some people may prefer this over the WickedJobs one, especially if they have advanced their Sims in this career path. Its not a bother to me to look at it, as I miss doing modding and software development so I can spend some cycles looking at it to see if I can help out.

 

The original plan for the mod that he posted also shows some good ideas that just need some implementation work, and that sounds like a fun challenge to do.

Well I commend you. Peeps have been waiting since July for an update to this. It would need its Exhibitionism skill support rewritten (it's misspelled in-game), placeholder descriptions replaced and generally needing all career stages implemented.

Appreciate it. I think i got the exhibition skill issue fixed as it bugged me it was misspelled. This one also needs a bit of work on formatting of some of the pieces, the mentioned placeholders and stages, and some optimization in how it is layed out in the packages. 

 

Having looked through the packages as they are so far, I am not opposed to continue working on fixing this mod, however I also can think of ways I would change and modify the mod. Having done game design work, it seems to me that there is a great infrastructure to build upon with this mod. Looking at both Wicked Jobs and this mod, has me thinking of changes that would make more sense progression wise, such as adding some 'starting' camgirl levels that requre Nudity/naturism for those levels (as you are getting started), then the camgirl starting path would requiring Exhibitionism skill past that.. makes more sense to me based on people I know who have done that. They started out posing in revealing clothes, then proceeded to underwear, strategic placement of pillows, stuffies, statues... etc..; then finally started showing off their breasts, ass, and fingering/masturbation. 

Casting path is more of a modeling path, say something along lines of Kato's Steamgirls or Rincity, so that path could be fleshed out (and perhaps require some interactions/relationships with other girls/guys) in order to progress. Perhaps splitting off from camgirl once the exhibitionism requirement pops up. As for the Simstagram path detailed in the chart, that could almost be combined with the casting path imo.. but i need to think more on that. Career movement past that, I wonder if there could be some fleshing out to softcore(Skinemax... wow that dates me), hardcore, and fetish. Hardcore would not necessarily need to split down the line, but instead throw in the eventcards for things like gangbang, blowbang, etc.. with both positive/negative effect chances.

 

These are the random ideas/thoughts I had looking at Insolent's and Jen's work, and I mean no disprespect to the work they or Jens have done on their mods, just a different view based on my experiences.

This is sounds promising, and I don't think anyone would grudge you considering Insolent disappeared months ago. I did suggest to them an active pornstar career, which although demanding a lot of work, I think a lot of peeps would love to see. I really hope you give this mod the TLC it desperately needs.

An active career... hmm that could be doable... camgirl could be work at home/studio type... not too hard to do though if studio based, would require a location for that. Obviously WW could help with the porn parts... modeling would be challenge, but i think tht could be doable. This would be a challenge and an active version may need to be a new mod in itself...

I tried this on an existing game and the exhibitionism skill vanished after her first promotion (she was burbling along with 4 at the time).  I've not tested this fix extensively but I would be careful using it without carrying full back ups just in case.

I had the same problem when unlocking the exhibitionism skill itself playing the career. I fixed it by streaking to unlock it "properly". You may just need to cheat level it back up.

I installed this mod and my sim can not go to bed, just lie down on the bed then the sim up and can not sleep until I remove the mod

This mod is currently broken. In the meantime, download WickedJobs. Kesryth has done a fine job fixing this one. Just use his 0.2 package file in the comments to get it up and running (or 0.2b if you want daylight working hours for the Pornstar track.)
