Skyrim problem crisis

All my mods have work fine for about a year and a half now. Some small problems here and there, stuff i could fix. (With some help from everyone here on this site) Recently i had installed tes5edit and wanted to improve my game so i watched some youtube videos and made a backup of my update.esm. i go play the game and all hell breaks lose current problems will be listed below. I go back and revert everything sense i clean my update.esm i remove tes5edit and cleaned it out. i have the feeling its something involved in my documents. i have tried for the past 30 hours ... not joking, to fix it but no luck. So i'm hoping someone how knows whats going on could shed some light on this issue.

 

Current problems - 

1 my papyrus logs are not recording anything right now even though they are enabled.

2 anything hdt related just fucks up one way or another.

3 crashes at random things (it sounds like normal but when you see no patterns in the crashes such as walking into a cell or drawing your weapon then its not to normal.)

 

What i have tried - 

1 load order lots of it (i have read just about every page for my main mods to see witch order they belong in.)

2 reinstall of skse, the entire vanilla game and some main mods such as xp skeleton extended, hdt mods, sexlab and more.

3 asking people here for help ( not much help )

 

What i have gathered -

1 Is its probably not a load order issue especially sense papyrus logs are not doing a thing (May be in a form of conflict)

2 my idea of documents are reason for problem is because when i reinstalled the game i moved my other docs to a safe area.

3 hdt seems to work but butts,belly and breast are skewed

4 My skeleton is working fine but seems to be the root cause but i have put it in just about everywhere on my load order and not much changes

You have both XPSME and dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic installed, both of these affect skeletons.  What order did you install them in?  It could be you installed XPSME first, then Realistic ragdolls, and the skeleton from Ragdolls overwrite XPSME and is giving you grief.  Try reinstalling XPSME, and overwrite everything to make sure that fixes it?

 

As for your documents, without knowing what you did, it's hard to know what's up.  

 

The quickest way is to open an explorer window, and for the location, type %USERPROFILE%\Documents.  If you really did move or redirect this folder to somewhere else on your hard drive, or on another hard drive, it will take you to your currently configured documents folder (%USERPROFILE% is a variable that tells the OS where your current user profile is configured and lives at).

OK, in mod organizer, what is the priority of your mods?  What is the priority of XPSME and Realistic Ragdolls?

 

Alternatively, on the right pane, if you got to the data tab, and expand out meshes/actors/character/character assets, what mod is providing the skeleton_female.hkx file?

OK, but some of those files are not being provided by XPSME.  The left pane has the mod name column is so wide you can't see the other columns.  Make it smaller so you can see the priority column, and sort by that.  Find XPSME, and drag it until it's at the point in the list where it has a priority value that has the largest number.

1. I have no clue.

2. Skeleton needs to be lower priority than your bodyslide output in the resource pane (left side)

3. The vast majority of random ctd is memory related. Ill provide a quick check list for you to troubleshoot. Once you hit 3.1g ram usage instant ctd.

 

- Have you set your skse.ini memory settings? If not look up the STEP wiki for a tute. The settings are pretty standard across most LOs and machines.

- Do you use an enb? A the very least you should be using enboost for its vram sorcery.

- If you already have all this check your ini settings thoroughly. STEP wiki a good source to check against.

 

For enb settings there this one in particular that does vary from user to user-

People find better performance setting this low, some high (like in my case). Its something you need to play with.

 

These are the only 3 things you really need for a stable game. At the very least you can rule something out.

Just open the folder you installed Mod Organizer into, then the profiles folder and then the one for the profile you're using atm (probably default).

Then post the modlist.txt file itt.

Or the content of it, but please use a spoiler if you do, posts don't need to get long and bloated for no reason.

 

... And under no circumstances switch to NMM.

It shouldn't be. It should be provided by XPMSE.

Give XPMSE a higher mod priority than Realistic Ragdoll (left window is for mods, priority is one of the columns in it).

And it needs higher priority than SOS too.

Basically when it comes to the mod list (not the esp load order) you do the following:

If a mod is more up to date it is often the right call to let it overwrite whatever else you are using. Simple as that. And if that's a problem because the updated mod is incompatible with the rest of the setup then you shouldn't use the updated version anyway. Or get rid of the more outdated mod or mods conflicting with it.

It's really intuitive if you think about it for a second.

If you have good reasons to put something older last (like NPCs being beautified by Bijin instead of some shitty Japanese beak nose mod) then go ahead, this is just an advice for the many cases where you are in the dark.

 

LOOT should only be a starting point for sorting mods btw. It's not failsafe.

You should know what you are installing there and you should have read the mod description and readme for everything you are using. If they mention specific conflicts keep that in mind (or make notes). Then try making reasonable guesses on what should go last in the mod order.

And for many mods new beats old is one of the guidelines you should use. If SOS did get a new update and that would include hopelessly outdated skeleton files that are incompatible with the newer XPMSE versions then I'd say the SOS authors screwed up big time. And since you don't expect them to and trust that they know what they are doing (or better were doing, I don't expect SOS to get updated anytime soon) you could install SOS last again.

But XPMSE is the more up to date mod with the same files so the whole argument is moot here and you can just put it last.

 

At the end of the day it always depends on the concrete files that are conflicting (meaning the mods share them so one will overwrite the one from the conflicting mod) and what the game needs them for. Just try to apply some common sense to solving these conflicts, there's little to no tech wizard stuff involved.

At no point was I refering to the esm and esp load order btw. Let LOOT sort that and then change it depending on what you read in mod descriptions/readmes (Sexlab Solutions after Alternate Start and basically everything else for example) and on the conflicts MO shows after sorting the mod list.

And you might want to create a bashed and a merged patch.

Make sure you are using the INI Editor in mod organizer to enable papyrus...

Editing the file in documents folder is not always the one mod organizer will be using.

If you find out what exactly went wrong on your end please share that information. This is very odd since the modlist.txt you posted tells me that you indeed loaded XPMSE after Realistic Ragdoll... Very strange.

Yea i will sure add more info if i come across any and post it here. The only info i can give is it was caused by tes5edit when i cleaned my update.esm i did revert back to the backup and the problem persisted. 

 

It might have been a mod organizer problem as well due to the fact MO is the one working with the mods.

 

I might try reinstalling and backup all my mods.......... i'm not sure
