I would love to see something like Xstoryplayer or even something like BoneTown :) To be honest i do prefer Bonetown more cuz it has open world, and something like randomgen women. It is also funny and has storyline. Personally i hate any kind of multiplayer in games like this.

Since you(or someone) have mentioned a Character Creation like F4(previously Skyrim)

How Complex or simple do you think You'd aim for..,

i don't know much(basicly nothing just stuff i hear, and read about) about Game Development..,

But im sure the more complex it gets the more difficult some aspects get.

 

When mentioning the F4 Body Triangle.., Would it be one(for overall Thin, Muscular, and Fat) or more than one Triangle. Say for thin Triangle adjusts the thinness of the body, or size, possible where on the body as well. Fat, same as thinness only it smooths or rounds out parts of the body. and Muscular, Same as Previous only it makes the body more Shaped and more Visible, or less Musculature.

or simply a mixed bag of both..., and/or Similar to Skyrim?

it will be a hybdrid of the 2, first getting a prime base for the body, 3 type, a loli "Child" , a normal , and a "Thick/big" version , then using the base we will try to implement the triangle from the fallout 4 for the over all shape of the base, and afterwards we will then put a slider option like the one seen with the body slider in the original skyrim mod , and something from the fallout 4 body modifier , so that it will be more complete and great for someone trying to get their preferred body type.

 

as for the complexity ,it will be complex and will then push a dynamic take / "modular" base one for it ,yes it will require a lot of code, before we can implement this , we will make a demo and you can choose from the 3 body type first before we can make the body modification .

 

i hope that helps with it , and yes we have been busy now trying to compile the information that you guys have been doing and will be ready to release the initial idea within next month or so , we will also be pushing a channel / chat for those that would like to know more about the designs and we will be also getting comments and information from the community either via trello . slacks and the updates and developer blogs / chats will be done via twitch . i hope that helps! specially as i showed kevin and the others that people are actually taking notice and would like to know more about it .

 

PS. we might even release some in work sketches and character designs next month as well, because we have asked lewdgamers if they can review and get people to know what we are doing , they ask for some sexual contents before they can decide if its worth it , so the others are currently working on some art content for it.

 

expect something really soon within the channel , and we will be using another name other than our legal group name... "It brings shame to asians"   wink wink, so we really need to have another group name and media for it , we are currently working on thing over time now :D

Basically body mesh morph is better, but it can't deal with highheels.

 

If you can get the permission from CELL and Caliente then at least the FBX for CBBE is valueable

 

Though it may not be proper for commercial game

I picked the RPG based where you are the hero / heroine within a fantasy/other them game one. If you can play a heroine please don't make it a molestation game when playing a female character I'm getting tired of downloading something only to throw it away as soon as I see it's another one of those type games when playing a female character.

If you are going for customization over other parts, what are you looking at doing for the clothing mechanic?

Basically body mesh morph is better, but it can't deal with highheels.

I dont think we would actually need codes from them because the body manipulation will be codded into the game itself so its not actually a mod but a mixture of techniques and idea's we will talk about it later when we have a solid base for the game , before we add a lot of things inside the pipeline

For the initial idea it would not be locked in a certain position or action , that is where the customization and settings comes in , it will be a script that will be used for everything so that the game can accomodate what kind of play you want , and yes we will do some samples and initial pre sets so that you can choose from those actions or if you want certain things to be done , that is where the customization comes into play, if you are familiar with god eater, their custom bullet creating , the same principle will be applied to your scene  or action that you want , we will discuss this further down the pipeline when we finish a base gameplay and mechanics

If you are going for customization over other parts, what are you looking at doing for the clothing mechanic?

 

 

Actually we will do more research for that ,specially because we will be adding mods & mod support so we actually need to do a lot of work specially the functions that will be inside the game , because we will be using unreal , unlike unity it has some advance options for it, for example , cloths now in unreal can actually do shadows , i mean if the player or object is standing besides a cloth , and has a lighting , lets say the lighting also has god rays , then it will cast a shadow on the cloth , unlike in unity it doesnt have that kind of feature yet inside the game engine.

 

 

this one will be good for "Private shows like a stripper joint in their private lounge" or even a sexy scene where the other character performs poses and animation from a changing box that is made from paper or cloth.

 

also another clothing mechanic that we need to do is the materials if we will implement a real time rendering for the cloths.

we will also check if the body shaping for the clothing or pieces of armor will be adjusted for a lewd look , or if the clothing will be a loose feel and look into it. like the post above we need to do more research and post findings and make a proper polling so that we can strategies what needs to be implemented and what goes into the pipeline.

 

 

 

 

 

 

also sorry guys for the late reply been busy with some work using augmented reality for a client in our studio, and more work pertaining to this thread and game. so we got a lot going on right now. but we will release more information and stuff when next month comes in, early and late next month we will be delivering more information, game mechanics , idea's , character designs , and some special mini game that we will release when we finish our basic accounts that will be tied to the game Hint : "its an augmented reality" mini game so wait for it and yes its also a way for you to support us , no its "FREE" :D i hope this helps!

And, I strongly recommonded you take high heels and stockings into account, there are really quite a lot of people who like them. And the feature will cause many troubles, from IK to animation

Dont worry about that, we will release the game designs open to people that will support us so that you know the features that will be in the game, and we will open up , a place so that the proper requests for things like stockings, piercings , boots and high heels etc. can be properly accommodated and put into the pipeline after the main base is done

 

 

Voted. I'm curious what it's finally gonna be. Sounds interesting and worth to support.

 

Thank you for the interest, but we want to focus more into the deliverable rather than just sounding nice, it might look good on paper and idea, but it can change when we try to implement it , that is why we are doing a lot of research and data gathering right now so that we can deliver a proper game and not just get people to notice us.

 

yes its more about how it feels and run , rather than how it sounds , we want to build a solid game where you can enjoy it to what kind of gameplay you had in mind

I feel ... uncertain?

 

I have tried bringing up some versions of unreal engine and have not gotten anywhere useful. Mostly, I imagine I would need some patience and persistence, but also some creative motivation. But that is just me. Meanwhile, some aspects of this project sound promising, but I am not yet seeing anything of the story telling and creativity which I myself do not feel I can bring. 

 

It's the little things that seem to matter?

I have tried bringing up some versions of unreal engine and have not gotten anywhere useful. Mostly, I imagine I would need some patience and persistence, but also some creative motivation. But that is just me. Meanwhile, some aspects of this project sound promising, but I am not yet seeing anything of the story telling and creativity which I myself do not feel I can bring.

like i said before this is more into data gathering and planning , so yes you will indefinitely not see anything from the story telling to creativity as we are trying to get information from the people that will be playing the game, and then weeding out the possible gameplay and mechanics that will be implemented in the whole game , plus getting idea's on how to adjust and make the possible hooks inside the game to make it better more into replay ability and game time, you dont want a game where you download it and find it a meh then delete it again right?

 

PS. game designs usually take about 6 months up to almost 2 year at the most to complete and it is constantly changing. if you see a game design that is made in less than 3 months , then the scope of the game and the hooks placed inside of the game plus the planning isnt even pre defined and adjusted to accommodate their primary target users.... we dont want to cut short what we said because we arent making this as a developer we are making this as a players perspective so that we know what we want when we play the game , and then some i hope this information helps loads!

 

what are you doing with unreal? if you are using it because you are a creative person or from designs its great for artist specially the BP that you can use to do visual coding, but if you are a programmer you need to dig deep as unreal has a lot of tools for you. if you need some motivation and creative juices i would suggest talk to some game designers like myself, who mainly do the idea's , game designs and mechanics for the game before it goes into the pipeline , or even to get the creative juices flowing, this is mainly true and would help if you have been playing a lot of game , the best designers are more into people that wasted a lot of time in playing games , so they have more experience and idea of games. i hope this information helps you loads!

Is it a rough draft? a prototype? some sketches on paper? Also, where does playtesting fit in with this kind of concept?

Game design is a document where the Initial "IDEA" and gamaplay is thus recorded , polished and then re adjusted so that when one has finished it , it can go into the work pipeline , so that the coders can do their work , the visual artist / concept artist can work on the concept art and work with the 2D/3D designers.

 

its more or less the document where all the work , planning , and everything in between that will happen and be made into the game will be put into , which is why we call it "Game Design", because all the initial draft and work to be done for the game is recorded there.

 

The game design also has the initial look , and type of artwork that the game will be going for, sample "Realistic " , "Cartoonized" , "2D " . etc.

 

This also includes the Game mechanics that will play in the role of the main gameplay and how each item , object and player interacts with each other.

 

The Game Design also Holds the initial Scope and limitation plus the timeline that the work will also be done for.

 

This also includes the Target players that will play the game , what kind of gameplay is it "FPS" "3rd Person" "Adventure" etc.

yes we are a bit busy setting all the things up , but as the community here is the only one that seems to be interested in us , we will then deliver what we said so that we can get things properly started, it seems to us you guys are the only ones that is very interested so we are moving things forward with our group and adjusting loads of things within us, so please wait a bit more by next month so that you can see the work that we have been making and preparing!

Ok, so it's a document you are currently working on, and that will take quite some time to put together (probably not this year)?

it will be release next month , with loads of version controls and iterations because, we want to do a solid play, so we will release it to those that will support us, this will be an extensive research for the types of gameplay and basis that one can do.

 

we will also add the base functions that we will be making and then , added features for the game, after which while we are doing the planning and documentation , we will host a regular weekly chat or dev talks with you guys that will be supporting and looking into this game more so that we know what we will be implementing , which one will be added into the base gameplay and which is the addons for future development / pipeline work after the base gameplay is done.

 

we are currently working on the accounts that we will be using for this , as our current group cant be seen doing "LEWD" contents sadly , so we will be doing the lewd projects on another banner , and we will setup everything that we need for that , from the ff.

 

Trello board - The work status , load that needs to be made , is done, and will be made and other features

Slacks - More into the chat room , plus update site that is integrated with trello

Website - so that we can have a common grounds for people (Still to be discussed if needed)

Patreon - this is more into content updates for the community and the people that will be donating and supporting us, also contents that is only available to supporters and people that will be supporting us

Discord - call / dev chat channel that will be used to do Q & A , and other stuff , this is the weekly thing

We have already set up everything , just making a few changes and more stuff inside specially the patreon, because a lot of people wanted to help out , even some wanted to help with the work load , so we are currently working on a plan so that we can give a great deal with them , giving things like game design / development 101 , some crash courses into each field and more so that those that wanted to help out with the coding even the work load would have something to follow on and learn while in their free time, because we are targeting using unreal, this would actually help loads specially with the artist's that doesnt want to code but wants to make some basic stuff, so we will actually be doing a lot of visual scripting stuff, specially using the tool sets that we use inside the pipeline.

those are the basic stuff inside the pipeline , we will even include the information that contains the game designs, timeline ,even how to add your own branches and codes inside the project, we are just flattening out the details so that when you receive it, it will be clear for everyone specially those that will support it.

 

PS we already chose a name , even made a logo and banner for it,we will start with another thread from the forum here, so that this can be archieved , and we will be using a new thread pertaining more details for it rather than this one which had the basic info and data gathering , we will also push forward inside google docs , and forums for the data gathering , and we will even include the chats using the discord and other platforms , please wait a bit more either 2nd week of the month , or the last week of the month so that everything will be nice and smooth.

Good luck... lots of good ideas here. maybe I can help with arts. too bad you can't do an mmo game. 

 

actually we can , if there will be a lot of people that wants it , it can be a separate module that we can setup as a server using google's firebase so that it will be nice and secure.

 

like i said before it will depend on the communities response, and if you will be actually helping out , we will give you access to the codes, give you training and other stuff as well, so it will be nice for those that wants to make mods and other stuff because we will actually be opening it to those that will support us, so when we start with the official launch , get together a team either in here , or in the discord, then we will open up a lot of materials , training, and support for what your are trying to do and make.

 

like before it will be open to everyone , and the tools will be made available to those that will support us, so the ones that will help out will have access to the materials and everything else that they need :D !

 

i hope this helps loads, we are finishing up by tomorrow with the last minute details so expect the launch to be really soon
