I've been bouncing back and forth a lot between UNP and CBBE. I like them both. From what I've seen here at LL it's aimed mostly at CBBE.

 

For those who use UNP, what armors would you recommend that you won't find on Nexus? Heavy and Light armors both. It's nice that the Monli and Loli threads make it so easy to find lists of armor mods for them. Would be nice to see lists for UNP.

 

Which are your favorites for UNP?

 

edit: I guess I'll start with some I like from nexus, even though I'm trying to find stuff outside nexus. Still noteworthy stuff.

Diano Armor is on Nexus, Dianqing and Daedric Chain aren't but you can easily find them around since people keep requesting them.

 

I recommend you to search for Kurese/NPR, Hentai, Anano, Calyps and Ashara works on Nexus since they are imo some of the best modders for UNP body.

 

Also, if you are a fan of Mak's remodeled armor, you should keep an eye on this (basically Mak's stuff converted to work with UNP instead of CBBEv3M, I cannot dl it for now so I cannot say anything about it).

This is mostly true about Asian modders though, in my case I think that most of the CBBE armors look really poorly made.

UNP is definitely better imho, especially since it's the only one to have a well made skinny version. I can't stand to see a world where every woman is at the very least a D cup :P

 

It should be noted UNP was released after CBBE, so that's one of the main reasons why CBBE tends to have more armors and clothes available. Several Asian modders (especially those that are new to TES) began with CBBE and then decided to stick with it.

Lady Body (that's the body Blood of the Divines is made for) would be even better quality wise, but as it's pretty much something only 1-2 russian people are working on exclusively, there's very little material to use it with.

 

 

Personally I use this vanilla armors replacer. As for specific armor/clothes sets I have at least 50, but KURESE's ones are definitely my favs. The already mentioned Eisen Platte is especially good.

Yeah, anano, calyps and MAKs stuff I'm familiar with. Very nice stuff. I didn't know they made a UNP version of the "remodeled set" so thanks. ^^

 

@kaddy I use the vanilla armor replacer too from Nightasy. It really does make the early armors look awesome! It's actually the most appealing armor of the game.

 

@co0n Yeah, the Eisen gear is sweet. It's design is from armor in Final Fantasy 11 (my favorite game of all time). It's nicely made.

 

@brigadierdunet The Daedric Chain armor I want badly. I downloaded it from a link I got here in LL and for some reason when I try to equip it, I insta-CTD. I sadly don't know what BBP is. Is that something you need in order for Daedric Chain armor to work? I gave up on it for now but I'd love to have it.

Using CBBE ever since i found it on the nexus, being the first body replacer i found i'm still using it.

 

I don't play with skimpy armor actually because i just can't imagine to play serious with it. (everyone to his own mug of mead) However i do like logic... having my characer wear ancient rusted panties of doom is like.. eww.. no thanks.

 

Checked on other replacers, UNP and LB, but i'm too lazy to switch it, and honestly i don't like the UNP breasts for some reason.

 

However ever since i found the Blood of the Divines armor i'm using it, simply because it's goddamn awesome. You're reading right, i'm a CBBE user using a LB armor. Looks still good, no clipping whatsoever. So yea.. i don't get the discussion completely to be honest.

Clipping happens mostly only when you mix & match armor pieces from different body mods/don't wear a full set, as whenever you wear an armor piece, that body part takes the shape of the relative body mod: when you wear a full set there usually cannot be any issue of the sort, as the whole body changes shape.

As it covers the whole body, the Blood of the Divines armor works with pretty much every body mod. When you wear it, you simply are using the LB body mesh. But try to wear the light version without the chainmail: screwed textures due to different UV maps.

 

If you aren't playing with skimpy armors then it's no wonder you aren't accustomed with common body incompatibility issues. When you do, you'll notice you cannot use many of the armors of a different body mod when they show a certain amount of skin.

 

As to why we use silly rusted panties of doom... well, how many times have we finished the game already? We have done enough of our "serious" playing, now we just mess around with the sandbox and indulge in our fetishes.

Like ponies. Dragon ponies. Hmm, well, that could be considered serious business, though... :P

A few months ago, I was working on some UNP bikini retextures. I have a thing for bikinis, especially ones that offer a "normal" level of coverage, but either offer a latex-like shine or are some measure of translucent. I've done some similar retex work on stuff in Oblivion as well. If I can get off my lazy bum and make some more progress on that work, as well as - and most importantly - gain permission from the original mesh's creator, I'll make an upload somewhere. I've a fair bit of real-life stuff going on (upcoming move, vehicle with questionable reliability, etc.), so I'm not certain when I can complete everything, but it's the biggest reason that I've learned about retexturing and adjusting meshes.

I've been using the Eisen armor for awhile. I can only find screens of Dianqing Armor UNP with BB... but can't find a place to actually download the damn thing. Only places it used to be DLable with people complaining that they can't find it... except in various Asian languages :o
